Yeah. Apparently it was so bad his throat even bled. He had to change the way he sings and talks to avoid damaging his vocal cords. 😢

He was talking about it on one of his lives. He was explaining why he couldn’t sing his parts in their old songs the same way he used to because they are so high.

holy moly... It is not a current issue, he said it happened 1 year after debut!! That was at least 4 years ago, it is a past issue. Yes he was sick, he stated that he was pretty sick after Coachella, no telling when they recorded this.

Have you watched Yeosang's cover of Hug Me? If not, you should. Seonghwa's karaoke cover of Winner's Empty is also sooo good. You should dip into their solo covers. ATEEZ has a lot of popular songs including The Real. If I had to guess they've been doing it at the end of their performances because it represents Korean culture (the instruments, euphemisms, and theme) and their values of being humble and kind (literally in the lyrics). Finally, Yeosang is wearing a jacket and long wide shorts, not a trench coat. If you watch from 28:48, you can see it.

It's the finale song, they released a rearranged version (Eung ver.) with Mingi on Treasure EP fin. It was a double title track with Turbulence (yes, contrast), and the music video is IMO their funniest. It's been their usual final song in concerts since, they freestyle during the final dance break so they always have fun with it ! Kinda like Seventeen's Aju Nice, so they decided to make it the encore song here :)

It is amazing how Ateez only has good songs and known to all, all are wonderful and self -astral, they are songs that give you chills listening to their voices live, which precedes in studio, jongho my dear, your vocal makes me levitate, wow. .. And Mingi was sick, so he was drinking more water, he was disrupted that his voice fails, but gave a show.Vocal kings, dance kings, performance kings. I would recommend when watching the MV's to also watch the dance practices to see how good the choreo is, and how well they dance/perform. We need part 2, dingo, please see this dingo music, I want to hear beyond them too in this killer voice .. they are so amazing !! I'm so proud of them. Pretty much all live prerecorded showcases/performances have post production work done on them, including pitch correction, light reverb, and tweaking other qualities in the voice/overall performance. This includes all killing voice episodes, lee mujin service, the first take, etc. Usually killing voice showcases don't have it too heavily, but there are instances in some videos where it's more noticeable in some lines, I noticed it on one of minhyuks lines in the btob killing voice where the audio engineer dialed the pitch correction up a little too high and made it sound robotic. COMPLETELY raw untouched vocal performances are very uncommon when it comes to kpop, particularly when it's coming from an established/official source like the actual company, or a popular program. It's just an industry standard practice. All the word live actually means is that a performer isn't lipsyncing, it has no connection with whether the audio has been tweaked/changed in the video editing process or whether or not the actual microphone has tuning on it.
