I believe that as well. I am so sorry to hear about your son. I went through the same saying when I was a teenager. It was Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails when I was that age. People claimed that her music helps them through their depression but in reality they are only feeling understood because she is singing about the same depression they are dealing with, but she is not offering any hope or solution to their problems. We will definitely be keeping your son in prayer. My mom's prayers we're heard by God and my life was transformed.

Like you are right now. I was in the same situation and I decided to just let go and talk to my BFFs only when necessary.. And believe me, life has been great! I don't worry or stress anymore.. I was into dark rock bands like black veil brides and my chemical romance Radiohead.... Also, horror movies like suspiria and more of the like... Since finding Jesus, I've frequently come across channels like this one: I regularly tune in to #ThinkAboutIt and #ACallforanUprising ... Others as well helped woke me up from the dead darkness. I'm really thankful to God for sending modern day messengers who labour tirelessly to warn people about the truth. I'm concerned too, many of my family members are still "asleep" and indulging in entertainment daily.. my younger sister listens to Billie Eilish and 21 pilots and dark bands .. my brother is hooked on superheros and antihero films and "worshipping" Hollywood idols.. my youngest bro listen to rap music and loves the new Joker film... Even my dad is an idolater of famous Hollywood actors and actresses. My mum on the other hand is pretty ignorant too about the seriousness of entertainment. I'm highly concerned for their souls.

Galatians 5:16, Walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Romans 7 & 8 also speak on this, but I’ve been in your shoes. Simply put the easiest way to stop is by pursuing God (walking in the spirit). Praying, worshipping, reading the Bible, etc. It’s like you are an empty cup. Jesus is living water (John 4:13-14). When your cup is empty your flesh takes over and does whatever it wants (ex Netflix) because your Spirit is thirsty. But when you fill your cup you are no longer thirsty and you will start to see the fruit of the spirit in your life (Galatians 5:22-23).
