Topic is easy number 1 pick for me. He was dominating a proffessional league before his injury as an 18 year old. Sarr just doesn't have the offensive upside and Risacher is not as good with the ball. I think that Dillingham is massively overrated, as he is physically nowhere near ready for the NBA, and is going to be a Trae Young level defender or even worse, while not providing as spectacular offense. Terrence Shannon is still the most underrated player in the draft in my opinion. I would pick him in the 6-10 range, but his age will probably push him down a bit. He may be the best player in the draft and has been improving steadily throughout his college career. I don't see why he would stop doing that. He doesn't really have any weakness to his game, is a fantastic athlete and isn't undersized. He is going to be this year's Jaime Jaquez. The notion that older players are close to their ceiling is bullshit. You need to look at their development trajectory.

Topic is a great player, but he wont be no.1 because of the injury, but he is a great talent and a great player. I would like to see him paired up with Wemby, he is a great playmaker and has been learning from one of the best European playmakers of all time on Red Star (Fck Red Star). I hope the kid succeeds even tho he is playing for Red Star, he seems like a good kid

As an Illinois fan that has watched Shannon Jr. the last few years it's good to see him finally getting some credit. Idk a lot about NBA teams draft... the game has changed so much since I was a kid and followed it a little bit but it's just hard for me to imagine him not at least being a solid 6th man after a year or two in the league. He's improved his defense a lot over the years after all.

Either Castle or Dillingham as my second picks, I'd actually prefer Castle over Dillingham. Castle actually reminds me of Murray, a good defender that needed to work on his offensive game, which Murray did thanks to the Spurs. Dillingham is kinda like Maxey in terms of being a walking bucket, but isn't great on defense due to his size. Another reason I'd prefer Castle over Dillingham is because of his height, I'd rather have a tall point guard like we did with Murray

March should have a ton of draft stock for guards. Its the most predictive source of games we have - go look in history at top 10 picks at the guard spot then map which ones did well and poorly in March. It correlates to bust/success rate significantly more than you'd think

Devin Carter to OKC is insanity Even if they trade Giddy in the offseason they don't need another PG. they drafted Cason last year, and now use Jdub as their secondary playmaker. If they don't go for a Filipowski or one of the other bigs they are insane. They will be drafting where Big Men is the primary value in the draft, and have a desperate need. especially where they drafted someone who is almost the same player in Cason Wallace last year

Same. Im a magic and OKC fan and also like the raptors but im not too impressed with that pick. I’d love for some of those picks that were said, actually does fall that way. I need for my NYK’s to draft a couple of plus sized, multi possessional players such as Tidjane Saluan, Tristan Da Silva or Johnny Furphy. For some reason, these mocks keep sticking guards on the Knicks like they’re only interested in replacing Immanuel Quickley which is freak’n dumb as hell. I would also look at Bobbi Klintman, Jaylen Tyson and Kyshawn George.

Hot take: Jared McCain gon be the best out of this draft class. This class is going to be class of role players and Jared McCain is set up to be an amazing role player. My comparison for him is a klay Thompson (of course the quality is no where near klay and McCain probably won’t ever get close to prime klay). Jared is an amazing spot up catch and shooter 3 pointer and he can be a secondary ball handler with the way he finishes at the rim and can play make out of the pick and roll. He would be perfect for a team like the clippers. A piece off the bench who can get hot and give you 30 any given night while providing spacing.

With that in mind I think they should go for the type of glue guy that is good enough to maybe be a borderline all-star or a very high level role player but not good enough that'll divide attention with the main guys in a championship team and those 2 I think fit perfectly into that, with Risacher having a high ceiling of maybe being a year in year out all-star.

Besides Pritchard and I guess Rozier (16), if it wasn't a top 10 pick I swear the Celtics have drafted so many guards that just don't work out. James Young, Rj Hunter, Jordan Mickey, Tremont Waters, Carson Edwards, I know it's only year 2 but JD Davison hasn't been much. Just need a big man always have for so long can't remember the last time an actual presence was in the paint since KG. This is gonna be an unpopular opinion especially after the loss to Oakland, but I have Dillingham and Sheppard as my 1 and 2 on a big board and Sarr as my 3, just because I feel like what those two could bring offensively is much more valuable in todays game than what Sarr can bring as a highly versatile defender yet just a pick and roll/maybe pick and pop guy offensively. The Filipowski - Aldama comp is awful. Filipowski doesn't shy away from contact and isn't timid. I also don't like the Buzelis pick, not a fan of his game. No need for another developmental piece with GG, Vince, and the other youngsters (though they aren't good). If the UK guards are gone, I think the Grizzlies should draft Clingan, Filipowski, Ware, or maybe even Knecht. I also don't trust the scouts about Ware's motor. They do this every yr and are proven wrong. See Ant and GG Jackson.
