I like many of these dreads, especially the blonde ones. I have the most respect for the Caucasian straight hair free-forms; you know they took a lot of time and effort.

The advantage of wispy tips is its easier to dry and drain water out of them after washing. If you have blunt ends they keep the wetness and takes longer to dry. But each have their own aesthetics. My girlfriend recently ended her dreadlock journey after approx 1 year. Shes happy now and im happy for her. But im still in the game.

Love this! As a caucasian w dreadlocks, i appreciate it. Just combed mine out n its so sad to no longer have them after 10 years off n on w dreads, so i am living vicariously through your channel. Ps the bumps n zigzags is real when they are locking 😊 ps anyway to upload pics if you like, besides reddit?

Had Caucasian dreadlocks for over 2 years now, stopped dying my hair a year ago and since then my hair has been growing super fast 😁 I’m loving it, I find it very freeing. I have kinky and bumpy ones, small ones, congos. I started with ones that were about 3 inches long and now my hair has grown past my shoulder blades

I'm 16 months in with Caucasian freeforms. Starting to look like something, but needs length. One thing I know is I'm never voluntarily going through the formation phase ever again. Nope, never.

If you got very straight hair you will need a lot of patience, it will take longer and i suggest giving it some help along the way. I went 3 years not combing or doing anything except washing it and my hair where not even close to starting to lock up. I started my dreads back combing and yes, i do crochet my dreads and it has paid of.

I use nizoral anti dandruff treatment (available on Amazon) and then a clarifying shampoo afterwards (like dolly locks) I have scalp psoriasis and it’s worked a treat for me
