It's a long story but Nessa actually wasn't aware when she threw it back to the Quran. Basically, she was having some family problems and she had to move in with her step mom and dad. Her step mom was Muslim, and she basically said that she was Muslim bc she wanted to be closer to her stepmom. She explained it on a live once. I truly believe she has learned from by mistake, but it is not my place to forgive her. I agree it was very ignorant and offensive for what Nessa did, but she has apologized mutiple times, not just once, and it seemed like she has learned from this mistake. She even educated herself on this afterwards, but I agree that she should have been held accountable.
