Street Fighter 5 was almost universally considered a pretty terrible game for it's first few years so idk if you were trying to say that as a good thing or what but that game sucked. It had a horrible launch and is a game that many people (myself included) just did not like and couldn't get into despite multiple attempts lol. That only really changed in its last year or two and then SF6 came out and was just better in every way.

"party game" embodies my problem with the FGC perfectly. All those guys are interested in is being sweaty to the point that when things get added to make the game more fun they don't know how to process it because in their minds video games are only a place to prove how "great" they are and not about having fun in your free time. I'm enjoying the "party game" because I understand video games are just meant to be an escape from the seriousness and pressures of the real world not a whole different grind running parallel to my real life grind. And when the devs do something to make fighting games require less skill it kinda takes away from all the hard work it requires to be great at the game.

You are literally playing a game where the objective is to beat the shit out of your opponent. That said no one has a problem with the game being "more fun." Wait im confused, how did Bardock get nerfed again? His Gut punch was sped up to 20f, making it impossible to mash on reaction now. So your options to dealing with it are either reversals, backdash(unavailable in corner), and reflect. And if you start reflecting, he can start delaying the punch and catch you off guard The change definitely helped but isn't making him go up significantly on a tier list
