Dabi is my favorite character in My Hero Academia and Cross My Heart is the song that truly jump started my career in the anime music world so I figured it was time I reimagined a classic. This is not meant to replace the original I just wanted to give you all a new version and different flavor of a song I love so much! I honestly thinks this is one of Fabvl’s best, cuz although he uses the same lyrics they hit WAY more different from the way he delivers and uses melodys on certain words along with the crazy production from divide. Like it legit feels like a new song. Love the reaction Phae 💯

This song tears through the human soul because the way Fabvl produces his music is such a solemn heart tearing mastery of emotional delivery. This song in particular the chorus towards the end of the gentle piano with the rain pour hits the hardest whilst he hits you with layers of voices basically trying to convey multiple broken people or souls of people screaming from a pain that is all too silent even in today's world so the chorus speaks perfectly to that degree through his music his songs speak for the broken who go through abusive cycle of trauma through all sorts of different methods that people use. His songs speaks emotionally to his audience and they understand from a deeper level because of Fabvl's personal experience he sort of shines a light on in a song called I Believe In You and some other ones theres even tid bits where Fabvl mentions through little bits in every song about his experience the words convey kind of how he feels deep down about the human experience and what we go through

How do you get so much pain and emotion into a song? In a F'ed up way, by experiencing it first-hand. Failure, loss, physical, mental, emotional, and/or spiritual trauma, betrayal. Fabvl embodies... the irreparable damage that people can be subjected to through these avenues. He does to me, and that is what makes it hurt so damn much.

This song is like if you went and bought art from an artist that you really liked. You love it, it's perfect. 6 months later you receive a package in the mail from that artist and it's the same art BUT it's better because THEY got better.
