YASSSS DAY6!!! I absolutely love day6, one of my faves by them is I need somebody, it really has that bellyache emotional singing you were talking about. A fun day6 video is Jae and Young K (Brian) singing she's gone, its totally them just goofing off at karaoke but like can I get an official cover pls lol. You were beautiful is actually a continuation of the song congratulations ( their debut song), the video has the same actors and you can see in that vid that they were broken up so this video is the girl remeniscing about their relationship even though she was the one who broke up with him. You liked Wonpil and Sunjin the best. So the members are: Jae - 1:16, 5:11 Sunjin - 0:55, 6:50 Young K (Brian) - 0:46, 5:40 Wonpil - 1:22, 7:50 Dowoon - 1:10, 5:56 Hope you react to more of them because day6 has no bad songs lol. it is SO HARD to recommend a couple of songs because ALL of their discography is so good!! but I really think you should react to Days Gone By for a whole retro experience, I Need Somebody if you want to feel a little bit of pain and Sweet Chaos if you want to hear an astonishing sound there are in fact 2 guitarists, 1 keyboardist & synth, 1 bassist, and they're all vocalist, the drummer auditioned solely for that role but he's taking vocal lessons and has a nice deep voice! you already said that male artists are not your thing but I do really think you should give them a chance because they're SO amazing

So quick run down of Day6, they are a 5 member idol boy band, the first under JYP Entertainment. They debuted in 2015 with Congratulations. The five members are Sungjin (he had the raspy voice you liked in the first song), Jae (you didn't really notice his but he's another vocalist), Young K ( you confused him for Sungjin in the second video. He is also their lyricist and has written most of their songs. HES AMAZING), Wonpil (you said he was your favorite and he's cute) and Dowoon (the baby and drummer). I recommend listening to their songs in order cuz the videos usually link to the former video. They also did a project in 2017 were they released a song every month. So you can skip those and watch it later at once. My favorite songs are Time Of Our Life, days gone by, Sweet Chaos and Zombie

Just to piggyback on some of the comments here, a lot of us got introduced to day6 through Dreamcatcher. I never knew what song Yoohyeon was singing in her This is video until she mentioned day6 during DKDTVs carpool norebang episode and I decided to check them out right after. Even Siyeon sang You Were Beautiful during her last voice Vlive. If you're planning to go down another rabbit hole, they really don't have any bad songs, but Zombie and Sweet Chaos are my personal favorites. Jae, one of the guitarists, also has a side solo project that is also great.

Hi! Here's a short introduction to Day6 for you, they all can sing (even the drummer sing occasionally with his deep voice :)) and they write their own songs. They debuted in 2015, but one member (Junhyeok) left in 2016. There's this famous saying among Day6 Fans (They are called My Day): "Day6 has no bad songs" because almost all My Days have no song they dislike in the entire Day6's discography. JAE (2:35): The oldest, he plays the guitar and he speaks English better than he speaks Korean because he lives in the US most of his life. Often called "Chicken Little" for his small eyes and he just looks like chicken little lol. Famous for his hilarious tweets and he also streams on twitch now. He has solo stuff under the name "eaJ". SUNGJIN (2:25): Also plays the guitar, he's the one with the raspy voice you like. He's the leader and main vocalist! He nags the maknae line a lot. Jae often calls him "Bob the Builder" because the character looks like him. YOUNG K (2:44): or Brian, (his English name, but he prefers people call him Young K but everyone still calls him BRIAN). He's the bassist, got powerful vocals, used to live in Canada for 4 years before moving back to Korea. so he's fluent in English too He's the one who mainly writes the lyrics and raps the most. WONPIL (1:22): Your favourite! He's the plays the keyboard and synths. Has one of the most unique vocals, part of the maknae line (he's the "adorable" one with a lot of aegyo), he contributes a lot in writing songs. He also uploads song covers on YT. DOWOON (2:58): The maknae and the drummer. He posts his drumming practice in his social media a lot. He's an okay singer, not that amazing but the fans love it when he sings. He's a really hardworking person, and according to the members, he's the cutest member.

In the second song you actually pointed out YoungK (Bassist though he also plays guitar, saxophone and violin a little) and thought he was the same guy as in the first song (shows how great they all are at singing haha) and the red-haired guy is Wonpil, playing the keyboard and all of our hearts (he's known as being a super positive guy and just great to be around)

I think in the Kpop industry, Idol Bands flew under the radar for years. They don’t get the same type of attention and recognition as Idol groups. However, in the past few years and found an appreciation for them, people have started to notice bands and they have gained more recognition recently. Day6 is one of the better known mainstream K-bands but they’re still very underrated. Though they are well loved by other idols, many often cover their music. Other good songs from them are “Congratulations”, “Sweet Chaos”, and “Zombie” but really all of their music is good.

Could you react to the brown eyed girls? They're really talented. I recommend abracadabra (released in 2008 and a very iconic song), Kill Bill (mv inspired by the movie) and Sixth sense (The high note there is one of the best I've ever heard in kpop. The main vocal starts with a powerful belt. Then the maknae who isnt a lead vocal but talented starts a whistle/high falsetto and the lead vocal ends it with amazing control)

I would love to see you check out some of their live/Studio versions, they have quite a few that are uploaded on their official channel! Mostly I would love to see your take on I'll Try, Better Better and Days Gone By .. But they have so many and they are all, more than worth a listen!!! I would also definitely recommend checking out some their solo projects to really see what they can do individually, because these guys are seriously so talented, it is kinda ridiculous! In South Korea they are often called the idols, idol, because you often see other kpop idols singing their songs and expressing their love for the band. Jae, one of the guitarists has a solo project called eaJ, his most recent is called Pacman, and it is short but amazing! Young K the basist, has a series of covers that he shot live at various places in Europe during one of their tours, I especially recommend checking out Fly Me To The Moon, He also has a bunch of demos up on their channel as he writes a lot of their songs. Wonpil the pianist also has done several covers and collaborations. Sungjin, the other guitarist, sadly doesn't have a lot of solo activities, but they recently uploaded his demo for the song Afraid of their most recent album. If you want something else within the K-band genre, I highly recommend looking up The Rose. She's in the Rain, Sorry and their cover of ILYSB are definitely worth a listen!!

OMG DAY6 FINALLY HUHUHU😭😭😭 Okay, seems your favorites (from Shoot Me) are Sungjin and Wonpil. DAY6 has 5 members and 4 main vocalists (their vocal roles change depending on the songs lol) YWB is their debut song. And all of their songs are self-written and self-composed. The first bleached hair guy in the YWB MV is YoungK (you had your eyes on Sungjin prior)! Hope you can check out more DAY6! These kids went from the bottom (even if they're from JYP; their first album sold only 26 copies and now they're digital monsters in the making) to the top! They debuted 2015 and got their first win just last year, so they pretty much know how Dreamcatcher feels like with the whole distant first win, Wonpil even telling DC "You are ready for the first win." 🥺🥺🥺🥺
