"I Loved You" is actually the middle part of a storyline trilogy called the school trilogy, it begins with "What can I do" then "I loved you" and ends with "When you love someone" if you're interested in seeing how it all plays (ed) out. All songs have a similar slow jam type vibe, so finishing those out may be up your alley. The English version of Zombie is more depressing than the Korean version, but both are hauntingly beautiful and like you said, everyone can relate in some way or another. They both make me emotional to this day as if it was the first time I heard either. Not to depress you even further though, but the popular theory in "You Make Me" is that the guy died at the gas station (you only see one set of footprints in the sand before he "wakes up") and the rest of the MV is just the girl dreaming that everything is okay. But, like I said, it's just a theory, and you can happily go on thinking that they lived happily ever after, heh. But, in some real life news, unfortunately every one of them is in the military except Jae (guitarist with the glasses) and even he isn't with JYP anymore. But, you still have a long ways to go on your journey. There are still plenty of music videos to go thanks to the Every Day6 project (including a set of awesome Japanese songs) and they have one of the few golden discographies in the Korean music scene in general, IMO, so you wont run out of content anytime soon. There is a reason Dreamcatcher are all huge MyDays (fandom name) as well!

I listened to Zombie at the peak of my pandemic depression too. It's very sad but I'm so glad Wonpil and Young K were able to capture everyone's feeling during that time in such a sincere and relatable way.

i love day6 so much, i luckily got to see them in concert in 2019 :) young k is one of the most technically skilled vocalists in kpop, imo.

haha the storyline for I Love You was confusing because it's part two of their school trilogy. The proper order is: What Can I Do, I Loved You, When You Love Someone. A fourth one, All Alone, doesn't contribute to the story but reflects it like they're going through a photobook. Watching in order, the story is pretty straight forward and there's nothing much to figure out. Basically, Wonpil likes Sungjin, Sungjin likes the girl, the girl likes Young K. Young K befriends the loner kid Dowoon, and Jae has a separate romance with the barista while being friends with the main girl. And for You Make Me, he did actually die at that moment and everything after with the bright filter is basically a dream of what could've been.

Zombie is that song that makes me feel so vulnerable. I know it’s so relatable but it feels like they literally made a song with my thoughts and feelings. Everyone has that one song that can instantly make them cry because of the lyrics and Zombie is that song or me.

Day6 music is an emotional rollercoaster and for me that is the best type of music. I saw them in concert back in 2019 and still to this day, best day of my life. I had no friends to go with, I also have major social anxiety and had to go to a big city all by myself but none of that was getting in my way of being able to experience their music live, no regrets made. Thanks for reacting to them again!

You should definitely check out their song I Need Somebody, it doesn't have a music video but there is a lyric video for it. It will put you on an emotional rollercoaster. If you are into the rock kbands another group to check out would be FTisland. They're an older band and have a great discography, their ballad songs are top tier and so is the vocals. You will be able to feel and see the emotions that Hongki puts out through his singing and performance. 3 songs from them Id recommend are Pray, Wind and Unthinkable.

For Zombie, thi song is kinda a wake up call that you finally realize you’re circling around with no direction? And Young K said by that feeling, he want to make people know that not only you struggling with that feeling, but actually many people relate to it. And when you realize it’s not only you feeling sh*t like that, maybe that’s the first step of you talking and reaching others for help. This is the main reason Young K said why they release this song. With the hope, people who struggling actually start talking about that to others. Zombie released in the middle of pandemic and it’s so meaningful

Zombie by Day6 is one of my favorites. It was released last year like during the time of the pandemic. It was like a gift for me especially during the time where I was struggling mentally. Just the song and the lyrics made me cry. It became a comfort song when I just needed space to rest. Thank you for your reactions 💕

Day6 is one of those bands that just doesn't have one bad song and Zombie is one of those songs that just rips your heart out with how relatable it is. I am so glad you're literally reacting to all my favourites. Day6 also deserves more recognition .

I adore this group so much, they are my comfort group. No matter what I need, I can go to their music for comfort. Honestly their whole Demon album is amazing. Afraid is probably my favorite song on the album. Their Japanese songs are amazing too. I look forward to you diving deeper into their music, they never disappoint!

1:13 I died laughing at this. The thing I have with Day6 is that I can't pick whose voice I like the most. Some days I like Jae's the most, some days I like Brian's (YoungK) and some days I like Sungjin and Wonpil's. I think it depends on the mood i'm in and the songs I'm listening at the time. It doesn't help that they all belt wonderfully and their tones are all different. There is a saying that day6 doesn't have any bad songs and so far all that I've listened to is great. If you like their title tracks, I think you’ll love their b-sides. I’ve seen them live twice and they’re AMAZING!!! Their vocals, live instruments, lyrics, and emotions is everything. If you want to react to more of their stuff i highly suggest "sweet chaos", "i need somebody" and "not mine" (some of them are b sides, but the vocals and production are so surreal that ppl need to know them more, just give them a chance pls you wont regret it).

omg ! so happy to see you making a day6 marathon! A recurring commentary within the fandom (and even with people outside the fandom) is that day6 doesn't have bad songs, like seriously they have over 10 albums and there's not a single bad song in any of them. If you have the time to do more day6 reactions in the future i totally suggest to check out some live performances because they sound even better live

I've been to a Day6 concert in 2018 and it honestly was amazing. They're all so incredible live!! But especially Sungjin's voice live just hits different. Really recommend checking out more live performances of them aswell. Thank you for the reaction!

Zombie is one of my favorite song. It came out during the heart of the pandemic 2 years ago and I just cried so hard the first time I heard it. This song and the album that came with it really helped me a lot. But I Need Somebody is my all time favorite from Day6. It just hits different, sometime I feel like I Need Somebeody (and Zombie too) were written for me ^^ There is that joke going around that Day6 doesn't have any bad songs and man they never miss ! I'm 4 days late but OMG. I adore Day6! Seeing you react and appreciate their many talents makes me smile! For the full story, like others have said, check out the school trilogy. Interesting side note: they're the only MVs the boys act in. For more MVs I think you'd love, there's I Wait, Dance Dance, How Can I Say and Letting Go. I love everything about Zombie, its my favorite title track in kpop! All their songs are so good so its hard to know what to recomend because i want to recomend all songs! I think you would love "days gone by" its a 80's vibe all over, both their styling, song and the MV, you will see a blonde Wonpil ;D and the song is amazing! I don't listen to Zombie a lot, but I love it so much because it just expresses how it feels to be in /that place/. Every time I listen to it I remember it's okay to feel hopeless sometimes, even if it's such a bad feeling, and that I'm not alone. That there are also a lot of people who feel that way, who have felt that way, and who successfully moved past that. So somehow even if the song itself feels hopeless, that thought alone keeps me hopeful. ❤️

I Loved You is a part of trilogy. You'll know the answer when you watch their When You Love Someone MV though there are no subtitles in ince scene there. But you could check comments under that MV. The trilogy order is: 1. What Can I Do 2. I Loved You 3. When You Love Someone Also with Congratulations and You Were Beautiful, these two songs are connected to each other as well.

I Like You is so much fun to belt out in the car though! If it comes on I'm singing the chorus at the top of my lungs lol. We have a similar top tier list in terms of MV songs. I have Congratulations, Zombie, and You Were Beautiful, but instead of Shoot Me I have Time of My Life on there ^.^ As for other iconic songs, I highly suggest Dance Dance b/c of the MV. I don't think you've seen it yet. It's a blast and they're huge dorks in it! It's one of their happy and upbeat songs.

I also feel like we have similar taste in like these slow/soft/ballad rock w/ sad lyrics so imma recommend some of their B-Sides. If love Wonpil's voice you definitely need to check out Lucy's songs, one of their main vocalist and guitarist, Sangyeob, has one of the most angelic voice i ever heard. they're a band with a unique sound, and i pretty sure they're one of the only ones to have a violinist, you sure need to check them out. Day6 are one of my ult groups! Their discography is really impeccable! My bias is Young K, but as with any of my ult groups I love all members. I would actually love to see you check out, a quite extensive video that Umu from ReactToTheK made on why Young K is her favorite vocalist in Kpop... idk, might be interesting for you (also i am ofc slightly biased) :) Either way I can't wait to see you check out more from them, as well as their solo work. Young K, Wonpil, and Jae (eaJ) all have several solo songs, and Young K has a bunch of live covers as part of a video and photobook project called Young One, he has been doing for the past few years. Dowoon, the drummer, also had a solo release, which is a duet with a female singer called Song Heejin. The only one who sadly hasn't released a solo track is Sungjin. Just before they released Zombie, he (and Jae) went on hiatus for mental health reasons, and sadly he was unable to return to the stage before he enlisted in the military a little over a year ago. He did however write and compose one of their most impactful songs imo. It is called Afraid and is from the same album as Zombie, The Demon. I would love to see a reaction to that song.

As much as I love Day6, my first Korean Band love is The Rose. They have 2 main singers in a 4 man group. I have read people describe Woosung's voice as "singing in cursive." Would love to hear your professional opinion about them. A couple of years ago JTBC Entertainment had a band show (Super Band) where they brought on a large number of musicians and singers that performed in different groupings each week. They did a ton of English covers and the talent was phenomenal! I always enjoyed performances with Benji and Woosung (Sammy). (this is where Lucy started and Hoppipolla). Long story short, that's how I found The Rose. I took the deep dive into their music and loved it all! We went to Miami in 2019 and saw them perform and it was amazing!!
