❤️❤️❤️❤️ Dimash started music school at the age of 5 and continues to this day. Both of his parents are professional singers in Kazakhstan. Dimash is 23 yrs old and sings in up to 10 different languages (I’ve read different accounts) and plays multiple musical instruments. His mentors urged him to go into opera where he would have “a long and successful career”. But Dimash wanted to push the boundaries of his voice and see what else he is capable of. He calls his genre of singing neoclassical. When Dimash did this performance in China last year he was pretty much an unknown there. The morning after this performance his popularity skyrocketed to the point of hotel staff telling him to stay in his room due to the crowds of fans outside the hotel. He and his best friend went out anyway not really believing the staff. He needed to be accompanied by body guards! Dimash interacted with all the fans and commented that they are “so dear to me” ,..that stuck and he now calls his fans “Dears”. He is 6 foot 3 inches tall and I’ve come to believe that the 6 foot of that is all lungs. Thank you for your reaction! I’m subscribing to watch your journey through the world of Dimash. ❤️❤️❤️

This was actually the first performance for the China competition's new season of The Singer 2017 [which was why the crowd was excited for it to start at the beginning] -- but what is often overlooked is that he was pretty much a complete unknown to that audience [he's from Kazakhstan and didn't speak any Chinese at that time], and he was the least expected or anticipated to do much since he was pretty much unknown to the audience [which is why he was placed to go first -- the most anticipated singers were set to perform last on that episode]. This was the first time the China audience and other performers in the back room on the show heard him sing. Between his first performance ["S.O.S." in French] and his 2nd performance [Vita's "Opera 2" in Russian], he quickly won their hearts completely. Wow! I still can't believe that an adult male can hit those high notes with such power. That makes you exceptional. You're a legend Dimash.👏👏 Thanks for reacting to this Rebecca.👍

When you know what the song's about, it becomes clear why Dimash sings it that way. S.O.S. of a Man in Distress "Starmania" (french rock opera). Music - Michel Berger, text - Luc Plamondon Why do I live, why do I die? Why do I live, why do I cry? Here is the SOS of a man in distress I've never had both feet upon the ground I'd rather be a bird I don't fit into this skin I'd like to see the world turned upside down If ever it were beautiful It's lovelier from above, from above I've always confused life with the comic strips Even wished I could transform I feel something That draws me That draws me That draws me up Into the great lotto of the universe I don't have the right numbers I don't fit into this skin I don't want to be a robot Eating, working, sleeping Why do I live, why do I die Why do I live, why do I cry I think I'm catching waves From another world I've never had both feet upon the ground I'd rather be a bird I'd like to see the world turned upside down I'd rather be a bird Sleep, child, sleep...

This was one of the most enjoyable dimash reactions (or any reaction honestly) I've ever seen. You have such funny and enjoyable commentary, but also informative! 💓

Adagio! Superb reaction, particularly from someone who recognizes all the tools Dimash has in that vocal toolbox. One of my fav attributes is how well Dimash can groove in that pocket the orchestra creates or bend it and the musicians follow as if they were accompanying a world class violinist.

Finally someone that you're range can't hit, i mean i thought you can hit that f6 but you tried, and I'm much more amazed with dimash now because for a soprano your range is high and for a guy he's just godly. Of course not just his range is godly, his technique and control over his voice is still god level haha..

He is a vocal god, and a master!!! : )

The Singer show is from 3 1/2 years ago, he is brilliant on his lower registers now as well as improvement on his higher registers! Try Sinful Passion next (absolutely amazing)! There are 100’s of performances to choose from on Dimash’s KZbin channel. He has millions of fans worldwide. Best Vocalist of all time! He sings in all genres including Opera! Also he is an amazing performer and a lovely humble man who loves and appreciates his fans, who he calls his ‘dears’.

The range was ridiculous and the control over each level was as close to perfection I have heard.

That was more than amazing, all the techniques and vocal ranges he hit effortless with such control and manipulation (textures) is breathtaking. I think you nailed what you said at the end of the video, this guy mastered Bel Canto technique like few singers ever did that he biscally can sing anything. Thank you for this gold treasure video!
