🙆🏻‍♀ 💖 🙆🏻‍♂ Oh, I really enjoyed the WEEKEND too...I love the fact that DQ can sing in so many styles. Why do people have to be so narrow. I wrote him and told him how I love dancing to WEEKEND! When you listen to most artists who sing every song in their one comfortable style, it is so predictable, and same same same. With Dimash it's always exciting, and fresh and new! 🎉

Dimash sounds the same Live, in Studio, and in a Stairwell. Please consider some of his excellent Music Videos. Try Golden MV, Screaming MV, Love of Tired Swans MV, and Know MV Also please consider Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance duet with Li Yugang, Marigolds, Samaltau, Go Go Power Rangers, Screaming Idol Hits (very different from music video- includes rap), Give me your Love/2021, Never Land, Across Endless Dimensions, and Daybreak/Bastau. I loved the Weekend. I just did not like the lyrics about trashing hotel rooms as it fed the fear that the USA Los Angeles culture has corrupted him. I do realize that Burak wrote the lyrics but Dimash should have insisted the words be changed and they easily could have been. . I wouldn’t say Dimash has a ‘style’ , since he does anything from opera to rap. He chooses what he wants to sing so if he wants to sing a Dan e track like Weejebd, then I’m happy too. I saw him introduce the Weekend song at the concert in Turkey and everyone seemed to be enjoying the vibe. The song he sings here, Only You, is so beautiful. Wish he sang that at concerts.

One of my absolute favourite songs from Dimash! Masterful! 🙏❤️✌️ yes Chinese. Check out his new jazz take on a traditional Kazakh folk song called Dudarai. Released October 2023. Video stamp will be Chinese but he sings this Kazakh song. Plays both Dombra and keyboard. Great new sound!
