No nobody dancend like that, that is why Elvis was such a shock when he came to the scean... In the 50s he was almosted arrested for moving his body on stage... On TV they could ONLY broadcast from his chest up....every performer músician the came after Elvis has been inspired by him... Everyone . Like you Said back in the day there was ONLY Elvis period. there was no MJ, he is way after. I myself was raised from this error. I went to two of his concerts. Did you know that he had a twin brother? You died at Birth?. He also has a daughter that has her own music out now. And it's nothing like her daddy's. But she has done a couple of collaborations with him with his videos. Her name is Lisa Marie Presley. The only child he ever had with his wife Priscilla Presley.

Loved your reaction! You're right about people not dancing like this back in the day. Singers pretty much stood in one spot and sang. Elvis brought the music alive with his moves. And the world changed. When he performed on stage nothing was choreographed. He just moved to the music spontaneously. Michael Jackson was influenced by Elvis and perfected many of his moves. This would be fun for you to react to: Elvis Presley & Michael Jackson (I got a feeling in my body) (3:36). I'm not recommending this to have you compare them with each other. They were both great at what they did. Just enjoy both of them.

Elvis never wrote a song in his life. He was a beautiful singer and actor. His manager kept him doing “formula movies” that he hated but they always sold because Presley was in them. This made Elvis literally sick to death. You have to challenge genius’s and with those shitty movies his morale got so low. Tom Parker screwed up the deal for him to star in a “Star Was Born” with Barbara Streisand. Parker told EP he couldn’t do it because he wouldn’t get top billing, she would. It was bs. Parker stole half of Elvis’s money and Priscilla sued him when they found out after his death. Tom Parker was a degenerate gambler and instead of having Elvis is the hospital to get well, he worked him to his death at 42 on August 16, 1977. I’ll never forget that day, it was on my aunt’s birthday and her and my mom cried all day long.
