Reacting to EVERY Honkai Star Rail Animated Short + Finding Out About 2024 HSR Live Concert 😱

As promised, here is our reaction to all the Honkai Animated Shorts! Sorry we didn't think to turn on CC'ing until the 3rd animated short 😅 Also, there is bonus footage of us finding out about the 2024 Live Honkai Concert that happened in May and it was so beautiful! (we just have little snippets of some really hype parts we wanted to show you guys) 😭
We recorded our reaction to Yunli's trailer and the 2.4 HSR Trailer that we will have out this week and we will still record our reaction to all the Myriad Celestia Trailers this weekend and release that video some time next week most likely! Hope you enjoy us yapping about one of our favorite games now hehe. We do talk loudly and I tried to edit the best I can but just be careful if you're wearing headphones. For anyone who didn’t notice, I’m pretty sure the New Years animated short tells the story of when they fought Phantylia. The purple flower is her, the lion is Jing Yuan and the dragon is Dan Heng. The music that plays during that part is also Phantylia’s boss theme!

"how did she get power up" each Glamoth's knight is basically​ a walking battery​ they powerd thier mech suit with thier own "life force" and each bug also contain "life force" to put it simple she basically​ ea- i mean converted​ the body of her comrade and the bug in the battlefield​ into an energy​ and enhance her suit and cause the chain reaction that broke the planet

Fun Fact: MiHoYo has an in-house animation studio and music studio. A lot of this stuff is done IN HOUSE, by them. They do outsource some things occasionally, such as some of the anniversary vocal tracks they do occasionally, some of the vocal insert tracks, like all of Robin's being done by an independent artist named Chevy. Honkai Impact 3rd has a lot of them, such as Rubia done by Shen Zhou, a very good male singer with a high and ephemeral vocal range.

Chevy is just a guest singer(who was a fan before and was sending her fansongs for HoYoFairs before) the songs are still written and produced in-house.

Glamoth was long gone, and technically her majesty titania did not truly exist. You should read relics in the game, but no there will never be a glamoth world, sadly. Firefly was special here because she basically overclocked her suit through sheer will power alone. There were limiters on those suits and she overcame them.

Everyone ever since the Aceron/Black Swan dance has wanted to see the reactions of those two. Especily the yuri fans. It's probably the first hint that we got to the depths of Acheron's power as someone who has staired into the Abyss and it broke her gaze, not nessisarily blinked.

We really like how they tied the dance in with the lore! Was definitely a fun one to watch after finishing penacony and we love both characters a lot 🤩 black swan was SHOOK 😂

@adrianandelizabeth Yanqing may have a similar path to Jing Yuan. He may be a grown man and understand what must be done. It will not be soon, so he will at least be able to grow up happy, and be able to leave a legacy like Jing Yuan. It could be in hundreds of years, maybe even a millennia. But either way, it could happen, and Yanqing is a person of duty.

I think Acheron didn’t did anything to Black Swan, she just stepped onto a landmine, simply. lol And Robin was dressed like that simply for a cm, which as part of Acheron trailer. And it’s showing that the whole trailer was under seconds long as that cm too.

Even though the info is outdated, they gave you general knowledge you need to know about Honkai. Better knowing something rather than confused when watching those animation. There's also Welt's lore too in Honkai Chronicles playlist in honkai impact 3rd official channel.

​@@adrianandelizabeth Just in case you guys were to get into Honkai Impact or at least watch the animations, the community is a bit trigger happy on explaining everything about the lore(Since Hi3 is a multimedia kind of platform that not only have games but also manga, visual novels and such some lore are very scarce requiring to read the manga or VN) and sometimes they're a bit pushy and such(Because the community is very passionate about their game) but the animated shorts themselves are spoilers being the finale of an Arc, but after watching them out of context, experiencing all that in game is still VERY worth while since you'll understand a lot more with the context in game and all that and feel the impact(pun intended) of the story.

@@sam_5702 I am not sure about that assessment, I think each type of concert has different specializations, HI3 is about the emotion impact and its character focus/symbolism while Genshin's concert are more traditional focused on the cultural influences of the music and how it builds their worlds, this is evident especially in the Sumeru Concert.
