Fun fact: Everytime we touch and Take Me Higher (Tiga's Opening) share the same melody. It's quite a big meme in the Ultraman community, especially in the south east asian community because there is another song the shares the same melody as those 2 songs. Another fun fact: Pokemon was heavily inspired by Ultraseven because the show introduced the capsule monsters. That concept was later on inspired the creator of pokemon to create the pokeballs and the catching gimmick. The Mega Monster Galaxy basically explored the "capsule monsters" concept a bit further.

Here are some facts about Ultraman: 1. Ultraman was created by Eiji Tsuburaya, a Special effects director who also distributed some of the early Godzilla movies 2. Ultramans mostly are aliens that came from planet Nebula or M78 And some of the other ancient creatures from planet Earth, mutated human, or even a space god basically 3. Some of the Ultraman is disguised as a human, that called human form. But there are also is a type of Ultraman that Merged with a human, that called a human host and there are more complicated one like deunamist that I cannot explain here at least 4. Some additional info. The shows until Ultraman 80 were all in the same universe. Ultraman 80 was designed as a reboot of the series, and ever since, each show is in a different universe, just like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider do. However, ever since Ultra Galaxy Legend they began establishing an elaborate multiverse. Each show takes place in a different universe, but unless specifically stated, the Ultraman normally comes from the original universe. Some of them, like Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Taiga, are even the children of Ultraseven and Ultraman Taro.

And has now reawakened again to face the revived evil in the modern world. Ultraman Decker (2022). Like how Dyna follows after Tiga, the concept of this series is much the same. You can say that Decker is the New Generation Dyna. Ultraman Blazar (2023). A mysterious lifeform, he is given the codename Ultraman and becomes an urban legend after astronauts sighted him. Unlike previous Ultras in the series, Blazar is unique for his homeworld is that of a tribal society instead of an advanced, civilized world. His name Blazar is after the luminous active galactic nucleus, blazars, with his home galaxy the M421 being the example.

Funny thing about "Godzilla" Gomess is made with a modified Godzilla suit. The creator of the Ultra series, Eiji Tsuburaya, used to work for Toho. When he started working on Ultra Q, he asked the studio to lend him a Godzilla. With some modifications, the very first kaiju of the Ultra series is created. Once filming is done, the suit is returned to Toho. Since then, with the success of the franchise, Tsuburaya is able to make a complete suit for Gomess for its many returns in future shows. Fun fact, in the recent Shin Ultraman (a remake of the first Ultraman show), Gomess there is made with a modified version of Shin Godzilla's model as a reference to that fact. Helps that both Shin Ultraman and Godzilla are directed by the same person.

A couple more fun facts about Ultraman: Ultraman Tiga is the first time the series introduce the "Giant of Light" with an extra color to his suit aside from red and silver. Tiga won quite a few entertainment rewards for being one of the best Tokusatsu series of its time. He's the first of the "Heisei" era of Ultraman. Tiga also introduced form changes for the hero. Specifically for Tiga and Dyna, their suits change colors based on what they need to adapt to the situation. The multicolored suit is their balanced form, red for more power but less speed, and blue/indigo for more speed and less power. Ultraman or the *Ultra series* (1966) came from a very different branch from *Kamen Rider* (1971) or *Super Sentai* (1975). The Ultra series originated more as a mystery show like *The Twilight Zone* or *The X-Files* or *Supernatural* in the US. The selling points of the Ultra shows are the mystery, the human story, the monsters/kaiju/alien and the Special FX. Ultraman himself mostly only appear at the last minute when he was really _reallly_ needed to deal with the monster after the Earth Defense Force has tried practically everything they got. Ultramen themselves are mostly aliens who need human hosts to operate on Earth. Most Ultraman can only fight on Earth around 3-5 minutes within 24 hours so the hosts can't just spam the Ultraman powers as they want. Leo was one of the darkess ultra series existed. And Nexus was one of the new era project that should be targeted teenagers and adult instead of kids. However since it was bit deep and serious, the show views are drop and they change it tone half of the season and the ep was cut out almost 20 episodes. And for me Nexus was perfect, it so crazy that The Ultraman was not the main character. It was kind of view from someone not an Ultraman witness the problem of Ultraman and monsters problem. but since the company want to attract kids so it understandable. And Ultraman 80 was cool since the ultraman was a school teacher instead of totally military guy. We can see his struggle as a teacher life and a savior. Start from Ginga, the tone, theme and product commercial hardly follow Super Sentai and Kamen Rider since they need to sell product/toys/collectible for business purpose. I was born at 1999 a one year after Ultraman Gaia debut and it feels so nostalgic that I have grown up with one of most best and iconic ultraman series ever. What makes Gaia and Agul special were they're become the first series with antihero concept and the both ultramans fighting over each other because of different mindset. Heisei's era always remain as an amazing era ever. And Ultraman Nexus opening deserves an award tho

Of the big 3 (Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) Ultraman is easily the most accessible for Western audiences. In the US/Canada almost every series is streaming on KZbin and/or Tubi, as well on DVD/Bluray. Hell, Tsuburaya has been simulcasting Ultraman (first on Crunchyroll, now on KZbin) since 2015. The last two seasons (Blazar and the upcoming Arc) even got simuldubs in English along with subtitles in like a dozen languages. Your reaction and comentator is such a joy for me to watch I had to tell ya a few things :) The Ultraman franchise is a Japanese sci fi fantasy series created by Eiji Tsuburaya. And it was a childhood of mine and many people especially around south east asia. -- Originaly it was a horror monster show called Ultra Q. It's not the same universe with godzilla but it was made by the same company/production (Tsuburya) -- Ultraman is an alien race from nebula m78 (the land of light). The fights for peace and protecting the vulnerable -- Most Ultraman series took place in their own Universe, Except sometimes there are sequels to those series, or a crossover series. Fun fact: there's an Ultraman series that took place is Australia & America -- Most series have their own earth's defence force. It can be military squad, Secret Agents like men in black, and sometimes their just space explolers, or none at all -- Each Ultraman have their own ways of fighting. For example Cosmos is a kind-hearted Ultraman who fight to calm down the moster, while Ultraman Nexus just kills them brutally -- Ultraman have a blue thingy in their chest called a color timer, wich tells their health and will blink red if they have taken a lot of damages -- Ultraman can fused with a human host, or they can disguise as human themself. correction about that first one, it's a different company, Godzilla was made by Toho but Eiji Tsuburaya did work in some early Godzilla instalments, that's why he got to borrow and modified some Toho suit to be used in Ultra Q and Ultraman, the most popular and well-known one being Gomess' suit that was modified from Godzilla's and it was also referenced in Shin Ultraman

Ultraman Trigger's opening features the words "New Generation Tiga". In a way you could say its a spinoff or reboot of Ultraman Tiga but its surprisingly its own season and canon, there's a loose connection between Tiga and Trigger. The appearance of Ultraman Trigger and Decker are very similar to Tiga and Dyna and this has been done intentionally to 'reboot' the 2000s shows for modern audience. Now to see if they'll redo Gaia because they are usually a "trio" from the 2000s Ultraman titles.

In each show, Ultraman's time on Earth is limited (usually 3 minutes) due to Earth's atmosphere so they need to assume a human form by either bonding with a human host or change into a human form. In recent years, that limit has varied to be based on how much energy Ultraman still has. -Usually, Ultraman is depicted in red. But, over the years, they will introduce Ultramen with different colors and form changing abilities. Typically, red Ultras will be focused on strength while blue Ultras will be focused on speed. But since around the 2010s, like Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, they will introduce gimmicks to sell toys. There was even a trend from Orb until Z where the Ultramen will use the powers of past Ultras to transform or combining their powers to create new forms.

The reasons also because Kamen Rider and Super Sentai were created by the same company while Ultraman with different once. But that's the thing, you should not let the Opening lack of visual prevent you from checking the series. There's a reason why they did the Opening but that's a bit too long to explain.

One thing you made a mistake is Noa didn't devolve into Nexus to adapt to earth, but rather Noa devolve into The Next after an Intense fight with Zagi to the point where they lost their physical form, Noa devolve form is basically him not having that much light that's why he needed dunamist, the stronger the dunamist are the stronger nexus gets as the dunamist has full control over nexus, noa appear at the end is because of human's light and hope
