You guys really need to expand your horizons. The GOAT now are from the Philippines. Katrina, you just heard, can anything Mariah can do during her prime in the 90s. Morrissette Amon, my number 1 favorite singer on the planet, can match up or surpass any singer ever. I grew up in the 80s and 90s here in the States.

The Philippines have some incredible young divas that can Sing Sing! Among them all Morissette Amon will cross over to international stardom soon and be your next Mariah Carey/Whitney/Beyoncé legend. She’s that good. As far as Katrina Velarde she’s know as Asia’s vocal supreme. She can impersonate many singers and has amazing range and vocal agility. Maybe check out her cover of Just Stand Up or maybe This is Me from the Greatest Showman. In these she performs all the background vocals and harmonies. She made these is her house just using basic software but the results are incredible. I think she sings best when she’s singing in Tagalog (National language of the Philippines). Budakhel (BUgoy+DAryl+KHEL) an R&B trio from the Philippines has done mainly but not limited to 1990’s R&B covers. Together they gel well together especially with their harmonies but individually each one has very different vocals and tones that showcase each one’s talent. Check out the following: Daryl Ong: Brian McKnight medley and also a Boyz II Men medley Bugoy Drilon: One Day (Matishayu Cover); Michael Pangilinan: Rainbow The trio has done 2 other covers featuring Katrina Velarde: “Thank God I Found You” and “I’m your Angel”.

They do make music like this still, in the Philippines. Katrina is the real deal, I call her the trinity slayer. She has numerous Mariah Carey covers but she does plenty of other stuff also. I highly, highly suggest her Whitney Houston Medley from the MusicHall, it's 12 minutes but it might be the best 12 minutes I have heard since at least Whitney's prime. If you want these 4 again there is I'm Your Angel and Thank God I Found You

Katrina Velarde is the QUEEN of riffs and runs if you want to see and hear her crazy talent PLS 🙏 try to react on her one take cover sessions singing "MAMA'S KNOWS" (Jessie J, they says that this song is one of the most difficult song to sing 🙄) Hrr famous cover of BEYONCE MEDLEY ON MUSIC HALL she hits all that high notes with lots of riffs and runs and she hold her breath and sing that hard song for 23 seconds while she is sitting... Y'all looking for the new Mariah? Check out Morissette Amon - aka Asia's Phoenix. Multiple excellent covers - including many Mariah songs like Fly Like A Bird, My All, etc. And non-Mariah covers, like Rise Up. But her recent releases are her original work off her new EP called Signature. You should check out Will You Stay from that set. The entire EP is fire but that one is my favorite.

Katrina can do both Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston sound justice. Her Whitney medley is so good. She is a vocal chameleon. Can imitate a lot of great singers. Please react to more of Katrina. I would recommend Rainbow - Michael Pangilinan, One Day - Bugoy Drilon, Go The Distance - Katrina Velarde (all can be found on the Wish Bus live performances). For Daryl Ong he has many on his channel but my favourite is Rude. Hope you will find time to react to them individually. Thanks in advance

Awesome discovery of Katrina and BuDaKhel. They are individual artists who come together every now and then to knock out OG RnB songs out the park with their signature styles. Katrina is a living walking toolbox of styles with vocal range close to MC (just 3 notes shy on the low end) and currently equal to prime Christina Aguilera.
