I can’t wait for your reaction to LOL that’s definitely one of my favorite albums if not my favorite ;-; it’s also the last album that feels classic gfriend-y if that makes sense. There’s definitely some diversity but the songs are still a bit similar to the previous ones. And then after that their albums start becoming pretty different

Thanks for the reaction! So yeah the next one is gonna be their 1st full album "LOL" which contains an intro + 9 b-sides. For the next album reaction, there's one particular performance where the girls sung the b-side "Sunshine" that you can not miss and i really hope you'll add this one to react later. The performance clip is from their Meet & Greet event.

The ballad version of Rough they performed at their own concert is spine tingling and I get chills every time I hear it. It was the first time I ever heard Umji flex her vocals live so I was stunned 😦! I would love to see you react to that one day. In addition Rough was such an important moment in the history of GFriend as they had their first win which was so unexpected for them. Yerin was MC for the show and they assumed that they couldn’t have won as a result. When Yerin announced it she burst into tears and everyone else in GFriend did too. Even SinB and our leader Sowon. It is iconic especially Yerin trying to dance Rough in a long flowing MC dress whilst sobbing away. There are so many group hugs in that performance and at Sowon’s suggestion they threw themselves prostrate on the floor mid performance to thank Buddies for making their impossible dreams come true. Still brings a tear to my eyes to this day and they wore the same stage outfits as you saw in your reaction.

15:53 many ppl missed this moment. It's just amazing how Yerin and Sinb in the front delayed their footsteps, waiting for Eunha and Umji behind to make sure their steps were in sync. Gfriend got the title queens of synchronization for a reason. From small steps to big movements, they've taken it seriously.

Welcome back. I am not going anywhere either for Gfriend and your reaction. "Rough" is "Rough" as you said. I enjoyed your comments on "Say My Name". You are on point about "Luv Star" - it carries such a signature of a Gfriend song. "Someday" is a true pick-me-upper when I need a respite. Again, you made me chuckle when you talked about Sowon. She does have a spell on you, doesn't she? LOL. Also I love when Gfriend members support each other with overlays and harmony. Yes, Eunha is the one doing ad-lib during Yuju's part. In their next album they have alot of interesting bsides and different style. This three first albums are known as being similar and school concept. After Navillera start to change. But when they become really more mature is after Time for the Moon Night, than they explore alot of different styles even more. Im sure that youre going to like even more with the time it just gets better and better and more mature and different

If you react to live music show stages there is a high probability that they will be blocked. But what is usually safe is if you watch a fan made stage mix video instead which seems to defeat the algorithm. You also get to see a great range of outfits and stage settings too as an added bonus.

I really liked you giving your opinion on the all black outfit of SinB in the Rough dance practice. I thought that I was the only person in the world who thought that, as no one has ever mentioned that before about black outfits in general. Sadly VIVIZ seem to wear black or all black outfits on most performances at festivals and concerts now and I find it hard to see them properly in the poor lighting of night time concerts often against a black background too. Even harder to pick out when they are surrounded by dancers in all black too. I know black is supposed to be cool but being old myself I would prefer to see them wear brighter but uncool outfits which would enhance their stages for me.

The choreography for Luv Star was changed in one concert performance when just before the key change Yerin and SinB turn and walk towards each other. In the official choreography they lean forwards towards each other cutely but in the concert performance they played a quick dame of Rock, Paper, Scissors instead. That is so Yerin as she is very playful, especially with SinB who humours her like nobody else. Yerin also wants to make everything into a game where the loser pays a forfeit. But fans loved it so they then did it for every subsequent performance but never on a music show. A video exists showing all their performances where they do that and it is so funny. SinB is Miss Cool as always whilst Yerin is like a 9 year old in her reaction. Looks so sad when she loses but gets visibly excited when she wins, all right in the middle of everyone else doing the real choreography. So funny.

I am so happy 😀 that you are back reacting to GFriend again. I was worried that you had overdosed on them in your deep dive and your passion for them had cooled, like one reactor who went from one of the most prolific Buddy reactors out there to absolute zero reactions later on with no real explanation why. Yeah, i agree with your point about the Luv star live performance, that is a very sad thing about K-pop and even J-pop sometime too. Lot of fans and people forget that those called idols are human beings too with their flaws and imperfections especially during live performance. So even idols can be stressed, Nervous, tired and/or even sick times to times.

After having listen again the backvocal for Trust, i can confirm that it is SinB. I know my girls voices too well, to confuse their voices now lol. Edit: Ok, during the live of Trust they switched the backvocal from SinB to Eunha. BUT, i am 100% sure that the backvocal part in the studio version is SinB.

Also, i have to agree that k-pop has changed a LOT since back in the days of first and second generation lol. To make my-self even old before listening to K-pop, i listened to J-pop since 1998 lol in fact it was a Japanese song from BoA in 2003 who made me discover her and then BoA korean songs was my introduction to K-pop.

Thanks for your reaction! Sowon was actually trained as a rapper initially. Her flow in rapping is excellent. Unfortunately, the early Gfriend songs dont really suit rapping in them.
