Yes uaena is the most peaceful fandom everyone praised uaenas for being so respectful to other fandoms and artists because that's what IU taught to us, IU wants it. Yeah! I also know a lot of fellow UAENAs who support other artists. Especially those who are fans of IU, her closest friends or those who treat her the best. IU celebrates fellow artists as well so that's another reason for that. UAENA's who are multifandom-members like myself usually don't engage in any kind of fanwars as well. It is fascinating actually and I'm quite curious about the reason myself

I think IU most probably gave her a hug behind the camera because she's so appreciative towards her fans, and always likes to hug her fans if she's able to meet one, it's just because of the pandemic and Korea has these strict rules regarding the physical distancing, so she's being extra careful as to not show something against the rules, that might give bad example, on everything that will be consumed by the public

I cried when I watched this last night. As a Uaena, even if there are times when I really want to get mad to some unrespectful kpop fans, I always think twice, there's a saying that a fan's attitude reflects her idol, and I don't want to bring dishonor or shame to IU's name so I always focus on the positive. IU and her music has saved me in a lot of ways and I am very thankful I found her.

Like you said it's amazing the grade schooler was able to stay so calm in the beginning. If you haven't watched the kdrama My Mister (from the scenes the little girl was reenacting) not a romantic comedy, dark, but I think maybe the best kdrama ever made and IU will never do better than she did in that. IU's back story is pretty amazing too. She deserves every bit of success.

IU just isn’t a huge hugger in the first place (u rarely see her hug people/strangers) mainly in this situation rn bcs she is quite awkward with people who cry in front or bcs of her. She just never really knows what to do xD (and thats fine!!) But she expressed her politeness very strong just by the way she shook the girls hand.... IU put her other hand under the hand she took the girls hand with and that’s a HUGE sign of politeness! You normally only do that with seniors and the fact that she did it with a child speaks for itself.

Koreans are actually not very touchy specially around strangers (not sana tho lmao) idk if it's a tradition thing but even when a korean see someone cry they would run and bring tissues rather than swiping it out Hugs are just for close friends and familly I've seen so many koreans in my life and just a very little amount are kinda touchy

1.) Hugging is not that common in Korean culture. 2.) Celebrities in Korea are very very I mean very cautious of following all COVID 19 prevention measures. Some celebs have been criticized for having dinner in their friend's house (3 friends) after getting tested positive for COVID.
