One thing you miss in the analysis is how much they played to the Japanese audience. They did the One piece theme and then Godzilla theme, followed by Godzilla by Eminem. It flowed together wonderfully. Oh and that’s definitely not the Indiana jones theme. It’s an old American western theme from The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. Starring Clint Eastwood.

I understand your point about loss of identity because of generic elements in the set, but i'd like to argue the way the elimination was structured and pieced together completely solidifies the identity of the set. the slow western theme transitioning into the first beat was really impactful, then comes wing's trumpet for the insane one piece cover, and then they use the same trumpet for the following godzilla beat which makes another perfect transition as well. then they follow up the GODZILLA theme with a GODZILLA by Eminem cover. For me, thats a really smart idea. So yeah, as you said there are many generic elements in the set with all the covers and famous melodies and beats, BUT the way they pieced all those elements together helps form a solid identity, in my opinion.
