What is fun in the situation is that Stromae got a concept of “lessons” in order to show how his music was composed with a bit of comedy. And I advice you to look for “Stomae takes America- Ave Cesaria” video! 🎉

Hello Judeo, Djamel Debbouze is a very famous French stand-up artist. He first became known in the 90s with this type of short, funny little skits written especially for television. I even believe that it was he who proposed Omar Sy who was then totally unknown at the time to the French "Canal Plus" channel. Djamel Debbouze was then spotted by Luc Besson who offered him his first major role in the cinema (Angel-A released in 2005). He then turned in a few films, including the very noticed "Indigène" (2006) which allowed him to receive the prize for male interpretation at the Cannes Film Festival the same year. Then, he returned to his first love, that's to say the stand-up, and thus created "Le Djamel Comedy Club" which allowed to discover the biggest part of the current French comedy scene. All this is to say that Djamel Debbouze is a superstar in France. Peace friend,

@@herochiff2956 Hello, *Jamel Debbouze, born June 18, 1975 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, is a Franco-Moroccan comedian, actor and producer.* (Wikipedia) He has spent his entire life in France (only two years in Marocco when he was a little child), has been to school in France, and therefore has a French education. He works in France. He's married to a French actress *Mélissa Theuriau* and his son is called *Léon*. Yes, these parents are Moroccan, which is why it's specified that he's Franco-Moroccan. But his identity card is French. Have a good day.

I would love yo spend 5 minutes with you to tell you how to pronounce Stro. Ma. É’ s name? How can we do it? I am very happy you found this vidéo clip, it is so good, with these two great artists. The French speaking community of the US loves him. Supper happy you and your community loves it too. Stromae is coming to the US at Coachella and a full tour in 2022. Cheers!

Just out of curiosity, what is that sound called when the video describes it as an Afghan dog that has not eaten in a while? I have wondered about it for a long time but did not know how to search for what it is called.
@WazigeLogica3 жыл бұрын
You call it 'Cuica', it's a friction drum you hear it a lot in Brasilian music. *Or at least that's what it sounds like to me: a sample of a cuica maybe with some filters over it.

The translation looses a bit of the sarcasm like " tu serais pas en train de faire de la merde?" is kind of very a very harsh shit talk in French. "aren't you making something shitty sounds nearly nice in comparison.

yup, thought that too. in my opinion, it was translated like this so that it does not lose contextual value.
