Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS, who are on hiatus right now due to them all needing to do mandatory military service in South Korea. They all have done solo projects, and have very diverse styles. My favorites by him are the ones written by him- Euphoria, and Begin. Golden, his solo album which is all in English, has a theme of love- from falling in love to breaking up.

Some of the best group songs he has written for his group BTS: - Your Eyes Tell (written for a movie) - Film Out (also written for a movie) - Magic Shop (written to help fans in dark times, based on the psychological concept of "magic shop" wherein you trade negative thoughts for positive ones) Some group songs where he takes the dance lead out of the gate (I recommend searching for the dance practices on these): - Run BTS (not to be confused with "Run" by BTS) - Black Swan - Idol One of his best cover songs: Falling (by Harry Styles)

I would recommend Jungkook at New York Times Square live. Jungkook is the youngest member of the biggest global male group, BTS. BTS began in 2013, so there is a massive back catalogue of music of about 500 songs. BTS started as a hip hop group, but now cover many genres of music, including rap, pop, latin pop, edm, hip hop and much more. They are known for their lyrics (always put subtitles on as lots in Korean), as they are very meaningful and they write, compose and produce their own music and write about social issues like mental health, social anxiety, societal expectations on young people and self love. They have won over 1,000 awards to date. The group is made up of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists, all extremely talented and experienced. They are amazing dancers also and are very well known for their complex choreography and show stopping live performances (there are lots of dance practice videos). They are all undertaking mandatory military service in South Korea at the moment (apart from Jin and J Hope, who have been discharged). They undertook solo projects just before they enlisted, but will be back together as a group mid 2025, when they all have finished military service. BTS always have had solo projects throughout as it is just a way to enable the individual members to express their own individuality and style, so when they are a group, they are still bringing this as a whole. BTS have global fandom, called Army, with approximately 100 million people of all ages as fans, ranging from 20s to 70s ages. They are far from what most people assume as the stereotype pop fandoms, not all only young people. Their lyrics, MVs and music are written about more in depth topics and not like groups who just sing about love. If a BTS song is about love, it is usually multi layered and more focused on love of self and complexity of relationship with yourself. Of course, it can be taken as romantic love also if that is what the listener prefers, but it is not the main intention of the song. They sell out stadiums globally now (including their last UK concert in Wembley stadium - 2 nights in 2019, within a couple of hours) as the biggest group in the world currently. If you want to really see how diverse and talented they are, try a few of their korean songs. They made 3 english songs during the pandemic to cheer people up, but the korean ones are amazing and I prefer them. Some MV's to start: Black Swan, Mic Drop, Fake Love, Idol, DNA, On Kinetic Manifesto, Dope, Fire, Not Today, Airplane pt 2, Save Me. Live performances to start: Festa 2021, Tiny Desk, Proof Live 2022, MMA 2018 & 2019. Rap line songs to start: Ugh, Outro Series, Cypher series, Born Singer, Baepsae (Silver Spoon). Vocal Line songs: House of Cards, The Truth Untold. To learn more about their backgrounds and a bit of their personalities, it is really worth watching an introduction video. The Bangtan 7 by Taylor Mairi has the best summary and snapshot into them as a group and individuals, in my opinion. The members are: RM (Kim Namjoon) - rap Suga or Agust D (Min Yoongi) - rap J Hope (Jung Hoseok) - rap and sub vocals Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook) - vocals and sub rap Jimin (Park Jimin) - vocals Jin (Kim Seokjin) - vocals V - (Kim Taehyung) - vocals

I recommend Euphoria live performance, Still with You (no MV but thoroughly recommend channel Elissa. She sets the song to behind the scenes clips that fit the vibe and English subs are accurate) and Hate You live performance and visualiser. 52 year old ARMY (BTS fandom name) from UK. It is hard to believe but all 7 members of the group BatS are really talented individually in different styles but together they are amazing. If you like dance i recommend group song MVs On: Kinetic Manifesto and Black Swan. They can act too, as will as write lyrics, compose and produce. They are also the biggest band in the world but also really sweet, humble and hilarious guys. Watch Bangtan bombs for begind the scenes footage or their challenge show Run BTS. They are even better live than in the studio and they sing whilst dancing, no lip synching. Please enjoy discovering them all.

JK is my bias in BTS, but I promise you that all seven members are extremely talented. You have started down an amazing rabbit hole. As for as MJ vibes, you are in good company. Almost every reactor has said the same thing. Less than two weeks before he began his mandatory military service, he did a remix mv of this song with Usher. He also has a documentary that just started on Disney+ and in it Usher said he was feeling the way MJ felt when he performed with Usher. What a compliment to JK. Also, Diana Ross put this video on her webpage under “My Favorites” in February, 2024. I just checked it’s still on there. I think it will be gone the next time she adds a favorite because she always has three and she has added two more since his was added, but it is such an honor to be recognized by her. She wrote, “I really like his songs and his videos. MJ is coming through all of the moves. I just think he’s great! I like the dancers too.
