Chaewon was lead vocalist and lead dancer in IZ*ONE although she was known as IZ*ONEs second main vocalist, as she was used HEAVILY by producers in most IZ*ONE tracks. There's not set positions for LE SSERAFIM, so the only position our Chaewonnie has here is leader!!!

@@bondubuYunjin is a C in vocal tiers and Chaewon is a E+. Although Hybe hasn’t confirmed anything everyone just assumes she is the main. Chaewon would be a lead.

Fearless did give me b-side vibe from the start, but I don't think it was the wrong choice for title track. Even though it could have had a more full production and/or a prechorus with a big switchup or something, I think it's memorable in its own way. Conversely, Blue Flame and imo also The Great Mermaid could have easily been title tracks. Yes, Blue Flame may be a stronger track than Fearless, but from a marketing standpoint I don't think it's quite as "catchy" (which is not a positive or negative descriptor, just what might hook more people). You can argue that Fearless lacks some kind of "oomph" that you would need for a debut, but I don't think they were very worried about the debut drawing in enough people since they have two members from IZ*ONE and Yunjin (smiling on stage) had gained popularity on Produce 48 (also they have a company with a lot of money). Obviously all my personal view on it. About The Great Mermaid, they said it's meant as their version of The Little Mermaid, but instead of wanting to walk on land, they want to flood the world and bring everyone into the ocean. A lot of feminist metaphor in there I think? ("I don't wanna sacrifice"; "I don't give a shit! No love, no golden prince") They don't have official main or lead positions in LE SSERAFIM. Chaewon was a lead vocalist in IZ*ONE though. 24:08 I think the line "I never liked you anyway" might be more them lying to themselves; with the expression "sour grapes" coming from the story of the fox who couldn't reach the grapes he wanted to eat, so he gave up and said "I don't actually want them, they're probably sour/unripe anyway" because he was too proud to admit defeat. I think they made that into a brilliant song though. Oh and fyi, the album version of The World Is My Oyster is a bit different from what they used in the trailer, either way just a solid intro.

I totally get what you mean about fearless! There's actually a YT video that takes the song and displaces the lyrics earlier in the music ("le sserafim fearless but they sing a little bit earlier"), and you can hear the beats way better and personally I prefer that version!

Just my opinion. The Great Mermaid's instrumental is what I'm looking for in Aespa's songs. I tried listening to Aespa and I was expecting their sound to have some *oomph* like this but most songs fell short for me (there are parts where you'd expect a beat drop but nothing happens) despite their good vocals. Both groups are crazy good. I liked Aespa first because have a crush on Winter but when I saw Chaewon's fan cams on TikTok fell in love with her and then I discovered Le Sserafim. Now Le Sserafim is my top 2 favorite gg after Twice. Yes, Blue Flame can replace Fearless as the title track. It's so good. If it was marketed well it may have been as famous as New Jeans' OMG or Fifty-Fifty's Cupid.

I really preferred the original version of fearless. The mashed up one was too noisy and boring.
