Luther was a little boy when he met her. He was absolutely obsessed with Patti LaBelle and The Bluebelles. He was the president of their first fan club. He used to skip school to see them and he used to bring them dresses. They had no clue where he got the dresses from. She knew him all of his life and they were besties.
