A really intelligent person who believes they have an important message would craft it in such a way as to reach as many people as possible regardless of qualification, age or background. The language would therefore be simple and concise. MM doesn't really have that objective, even if she thinks she has. She seems to believe that her own long-winded, buzz-word filled, vacuous nonsense is an indicator of a higher intelligence and will be recognised as such by others. It's only ever about her.

Brittany, I have a few points: 1) I think MM was trying to equate how women are portrayed on film with how women compare with models on magazines and how real women don’t live up to the perfection. This was a social movement about 20 years ago. Nowadays, models are all shapes and sizes (except runway/high fashion). I don’t believe that this is a “thing” anymore. 2) Many TV shows have portrayed “regular” women. For example, “Roseann”, Debra on “Everybody Loves Raymond”; Claire on “Cosby”; “Golden Girls”, etc. Sorry but she’s just wrong that women are not accurately portrayed on TV; 3) Archewell paid for this panel so this is all a vanity event. Katie was put up to asking about the dishwashing story. It’s all hot air. 4) She cannot be a feminist. A true feminist would not denigrate her sister in law, Catherine POW, or her half sister, Samantha, or bully female staff, or bully Princess Charlotte. Also, a real feminist would NOT trade on her husband’s status.

What decade is she living in? I don't watch much T.V.But when I do, I see nothing but diversity in these shows and commercials and movies . I also notice that gay and lesbian representation, mixed race couples and kids are everywhere. The question about the volume is an old psychological trick. It helps to engage and create likability quickly. People will applaude better. It quickly creates a feeling of reciprocity. The same with asking questions like ‘is the room warm enough, are you all comfortable?’ It only works when the answer is yes. If the answer is no and you dont fix it it backfires.
