I love the utter joy you get watching this franchise. I haven't seen half of them, but watching them with you is amazing, funny, and worthwhile. I believe adding Simon Pegg was a brilliant move. Hollywood makes the “ silencer” sound so quiet but in the real world they’re a lot louder not so loud you need hearing protection but quite a bit louder than hollywood makes them out to be
@mckrackin53246 ай бұрын
Some guns can be made almost silent. Like a sub sonic 22LR. You can hear the mechanics of the gun over the discharge. They make a clink sound when fired. But yeah, guns like a 9mm or any hypersonic round are quite loud. Like you said, suppressors are more for hearing protection than silencing because they are far from silent.

Really cool! ... and YES, they've got posters of this movie on the ground floor! This is the ONLY movie series post 2000 that's been consistently better each time! Tom Cruise may be the last great filmmaker of our time - good scripts, real stunts, great characters, set dressings, sound, music, location... The lot!

Another “best reaction ever!” And you may notice as you have been warned, this and the next two may be the best three of the first 6. And I am so glad that you are there to warn them and advise during this movie. Otherwise, how would they survive? And yes, Tom Cruise *is* an actual nutter. He does almost all of his own stunts and risks his life and limb for our entertainment. He broke his foot in a stunt in one of the movies ahead of you. As others have said, another nutter in this same category is the legendary Jackie Chan. Counter to what might be intuitive, don’t start with one of his American movies, but with one of his awesome Hong Kong movies, which are also dubbed into English (and on some of the more recent editions, with Jackie dubbing his own voice). My favorite is PROJECT A, which is an early 20th Century period piece about the Hong Kong Coast Guard, police and pirates! What’s not to like? And has Jackie Chan’s Peking Opera “brothers”, Sammo Hung, and Yuan Biao, who also are stunsters and great fighters. And the humor is off the charts funny. And the first three POLICE STORY movies are also awesome. 3 might be the best aka “SUPERCOP”, which features the equally legendary actress Michelle Yeoh. This one helped make her a star. She did not know kung fu before this movie, but she was a dancer and so it was easy for her to learn fight choreography. She is also in the great CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON. And the recent instant classic EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, ALL AT ONCE, which is the best “multi-universe” movie ever and has nothing to do with any franchise or commercial 1:17 property and is its own independent movie.

I think this is the most funny Mission Impossible film ever because Benji character and some situations in this film kind of jokes. It was not too silly. It was a good balance between action, serious and funny. I think Tom Cruise did very iconic stunt : climbing the world highest building. I just didn't like the villain character much, his character is very basic just a mad man want to destroy the world with nuclear missile but overall the film is very unique and stylish. I love all Mission Impossible films but I can say Ghost Protocol is in my top 10 all times favorite action films.
