Just because the Astros aren't making big, bold moves, doesn't mean they're not. The Astros are working to re-acquire the 3 time Cy-Young award winner JV and also have worked on getting Kendall Graveman. These are just a few for the Astros who are looking to ADD more talent and ability to hit and play to their lineup. The Astros don't need a Max Scherzer, who let's be honest has declined this year and isn't playing as great as he once was. The Astros don't need a DeGrom or an Eovaldi. The Astros just need players who have some talent they can work with and build stars out of them. Remember, the Astros don't buy talent, they grow it. Even though several AL teams have done good this season, that really doesn't matter when you get into the post-season atmosphere where the Astros have the most experience out of every MLB team right now. Currently the Astros have the most playoff wins since 2003 with 69 and the next closest being the Red Sox with 63. So your comment on the Astros falling behind other teams is a very narrow view of baseball. Just because you acquire a player or two, doesn't mean other teams fall off a cliff and aren't good anymore. Plus, a player or two cant really make a difference if they don't have good team cohesion and aren't being played often like the Yankees know first hand. The Astros have actually done WAY better than you give them credit for. The amount of disrespect you've shown the Astros in this singular video is incredibly rude because you not only say they're not good anymore, but you also allude to their 2022 WS win as a "crapshoot".

Exactly, we've dealt with more injuries than any other team to starting pitching and hitting and we've managed to stay at the top of the league still. Plus with how hard our schedule is compared to the Rangers we've nearly kept on pace with them and we've beat them in every series this season that we've faced them pretty much.

The playoffs aren't a crap shoot, you're just salty from last season that your Mets got eliminated. The Astros won 106 games before the post season and won the WS while getting the first round-by. Just because your team wasn't good enough to advance to the WS Marc, doesn't mean the playoffs is just luck. It takes skill to win and your comments are very baseless and opinionated. Once you truly see how baseball is played and won with actual skill, then you'll understand it isn't just "a crapshoot' like so many other salty Yankees, Dodgers, Braves, and many other fans have said. For example, Jomboy and his posse said that during the 2022 post season after his Yankees got SWEPT by the Astros. The claim you're trying to make about the post season being "a crapshoot" is based only on feelings and opinions. Just because your team can win 111 games doesn't mean your team will win the WS like so many people believe. Its best said like this, "The postseason is just extra games, so you should think of it as playing a regular season game"-unkown source. That quote alone says so much about the post season and how its just basically an extension of the regular season, but for only the select few teams that performed the best. Then, the teams that ACTUALLY are the best make it to the WS and the best one wins. Your claim of the post season being a crapshoot just proves how arrogant and biased you are towards the Astros. You made that claim BECAUSE the Astros won last year and you're trying to take away their credit by saying "oh its a crapshoot" or "oh its on luck". Next, your "take" on the Astros is very illogical due to there being little evidence to support your claim of "The Astros are falling behind the Rangers". For example, this season the Astros are on a 6-4 record against the Rangers. And 2 of those losses came early in the season when the Astros were missing many players such as Jose Urquidy, LMJ Jr., Luis Garcia , Alvarez, Michael Brantley, and Altuve- ESPN. So even though the Rangers may be ahead in seasonal record, their team record against the Astros is 6-4 making the Rangers worse than the Astros. If you want to make such claims maybe you should actually understand the situation before making such trashy remarks about the Astros. The Astros have worked long and hard for 7 seasons to continuously make post seasons and you're just disrespecting them simply because you "feel" they aren't doing "enough" Could that be because the Mets are losing Max Scherzer AND Justin Verlander? Could that be because the Mets are doing significantly worse than expected? Is it because Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander haven'r produced the quality that the Mets and you had hoped for? Just because the Mets are losing and having to trade off their most valuable pieces while they still have SOME value does not mean you get to trash and disrespect another team.

Marc you're being quite moronic to say the Astros are falling behind the Rangers when we've had a harder schedule with more injuries than they've ever had. Were dealing with several missing starting pitchers, key starting pitchers and several key hitters, which has caused us to lose some of our wins and some of the pitching doesn't help it, but we've stood our ground and are beating the Rangers pretty much every game.

My take on the last one: The Yankees are 100% making a move. If they don’t then they will look like actually dumbasses. Their offense sucks, it’s literally just Judge and everyone else has a strikeout problem. The pitching staff is a shit show other than Cole. While the bullpen is greats the team needs to get a new hitter that can get hits for them (Someone like Cody Bellinger could be a very good fit). They would also need another just solid pitcher to help them out like Jordan Montgomery, oh wait they traded him for Harrison Bader. However, I still feel like this team will still miss the playoffs. Every team ahead of them has been playing better baseball and have shown more promise then the Yankees have this entire season and seem to have a better team and mindset. The problem with the Yankees and to an extent the Mets, they seem to think buying players is the way to go. No it is not. Draft players and grow players that are younger and can have more potential in the future. Like what we're seeing, the Astros may be re-signing JV and getting another good player for hitting to help add towards the lineup. Altuve was out for half a season because of the WBC and Yordan was out for half the season also with injuries, yet were .5 games behind the Rangers who've had little to no injuries to their starting pitching AND hitting/ fielding. The Astros have done better than any other team could've done with such injuries from the beginning of the season. Plus, with the addition of the rules MANFRED placed, trying to disrupt our dynasty, he's tried to limit our ability of success, but we're still pushing through and winning game after game.
