Nice video. Loved your tangent on intrusive thoughts and questioning your asexuality - it happens to me too. I know I'm ace, but I still get thoughts like: that person is good-looking or interesting. Could I ever have sex with them? Would I feel sexually attracted? Etc etc

I'm still learning about all the nuances of (my) being ACE. About the second meme, 1:07 ish , I'm questioning.... You are an example for the fact that people can be LGBTQ and also be ACE. So the saying that 1% of humanity is ACE, is that still correct? As I understood that % was because of a poll "what's your sexual orientation" with 3 choices: heterosexual, queer or ACE. Since we are all two out of the three choices, the 1% are only those who have chosen ACE as the most important. So in my humble opinion, the % is much higher. And the question isn't asked to me so to whom did they ask it? And because a lot of ACES are also queer, why isn't it as expected to the community as it should be? Or is that because there are straight people who are ACE and the gatekeepers don't allow straights in the LGBTQ+ community? 😳 Sorry to spam your reaction site with this but I didn't know an other place to get an answer 🥰😘 Greetings from the Netherlands 🇳🇱

I appreciate you talking about still questioning your acesexuality. Questioning should be normalized so everyone can figure out what makes them most comfortable in their most vulnerable moments. Queer people can be more secure in their orientation. Straight people can confirm that they are, in fact, cis het normative and can stop worrying about getting the gayeh. 🙄 Kitty hiss?
