Multiplayer elite900 Well, most artists do what Jazza and I do anyway. It’s usually a matter of self confidence. I can't admire him enough for drawing such interesting and diverse concepts at such a young age. I've been drawing pretty much my whole life, and even when you want to sit and make a character design or learn a new skill you usually just end up doing what's comfortable for you already. drawing architecture and experimenting with coloring, even if it came naturally to him, is so challenging and demanding, this is incredible to see

My drawing skills picked up when I entered 5th grade, and I had an awesome art teacher, he was the only art teacher who didn't criticize my drawings, and he showed great strategies, but when I got to middle school I stopped drawing anything for six straight years and forgot most of what I learned, I ended up dropping out of high school and finally started back drawing stuff again, but none of it was good, but it's gotten better in the last year, I found a few channels on KZbin including this one and slowly got better, although my figure drawing never got repaired and up again, now I draw stuff every few days and actually made a channel out of it. Jazza has been a great help in getting some of my skills back, and I've learned quite a bit of new stuff.

4:39 THIS!!! I absolutely hate artists who say copying is bad! I and many others have actually learned how to draw via copying, referencing and or tracing! As a kid it was my biggest tool for getting my hands to do the corrects movements and motions to freely draw, I grew up with hand and joint problems and tracing trained my hands on how to subtly move and bend your wrist and hand. It’s a crucial skill to learn for drawing and I have no idea why so many people are against it. As long as you aren’t tracing the art to post and claim as your own I see no issue. Art should be about fun, i see so many beginner artists give up because they don’t know how to have fun while doing it! Don’t be afraid to make something ugly, don’t be afraid to try, don’t be afraid to copy, reference of trace when you need to learn how to draw something.

Isn't it weird how Jazza's first female characters were a bit masculine, and my male characters are a bit feminine? Like, do other beginning artists go through this too?
@cactussenpai96256 жыл бұрын
Patrick !!! Yup! My male characters are quite feminine. I actually like it this way... But I have to learn how to draw masculine male characters either way. (Although I probably will only draw mostly feminine male characters. So cute)
@SidereaNoxiae6 жыл бұрын
I think it's generally easier to start with your own gender, if it's not that then it's normally the gender you start with. I personally use curvy lines so it's much harder to draw males because they have more of a blocky anatomy.
@tomo49776 жыл бұрын
Yeah I definitely started with my own gender, drawing female characters before male. I think it's pretty normal to unconsciously draw characteristics of whatever sex you learned to draw first onto the opposite one (which judging by the Dragonball Z are and whatever it was very muscular males) Because you don't realise as a beginner how different they are, and to draw them as a beginner you can only the knowledge you know for a time, even if it's incomplete.

Hey Jazza, Ive seen these videos where people draw/write to the rythm of a song. So what if youd draw a _traditionall_ picture to the rythm of a song? You could like use a 1 hour remix. This is just an idea and I understand if its pretty dumb... Well have a nice day
