The fact that you look so much younger and fresher now really shows how grueling and soul-crushing the college app process was. 😂😂😂😂

So real. As a senior who lives in India, this hit home with how competitive everything is. Thanks for the vid.

Sometimes it’s not just the work you put in, or the competitions you do or the activities you participate in. Sometimes you go around looking at the ppl around you and thinking how they could’ve achieved something without having to go through the process you went through, and it’s frustrating but what they probably did that you didn’t was they kind of grasped that key element that colleges are looking for. A tough life lesson I learned. Happy to see you much more confident, love the vids

even if you go to a community college, you can still transfer to a university later, so don’t worry about it :) good luck and best wishes to you ❤️

Honestly, to a large extent it really must be chance. I know 3 people from my school district who got into Yale, Princeton, and MIT, and only 1 of them had awards were as prestigious as yours. That one guy did win some national piano comps, but the other 2 were actually somewhat average. Those 2 of course had good grades, but 1 I don’t think had any national level awards and just did a lot of school activities, and the other just did a lot of volunteering without even state (besides some academic and PSAT stuff) awards.

all 3 asian somehow💀must just be chance bc 10000 other asian applicants are probably better qualified then they were, no offense to them (they were still great ofc

hey bro, I really want to go into a top college, i just found out i wanna do medicine, i'm a sophomore and planning on doing some more healthcare activities, such as hosa and some science fairs. could you give some tips?
@SO-jp6gh Жыл бұрын
You should consider applying to the same accelerated medical program as P: -"This (Rensselaer) research-focused accelerated medical program allows students to earn a B.S. and an M.D. in seven years. Students spend three years at Rensselaer (in our School of Science) followed by four years at Albany Medical College, with no MCAT requirement. " That's a big deal if your end goal is to do medicine. While everybody else will be sweating it out, you'll automatically move from RPI to Albany Med.
