I really like your personal statement. You were able to show both sides of medicine (the good and the bad). I think the personal story would have made you stand out. You then really demonstrated your interest and determination through the many many super curriculars that you did- even some of your extra curriculars you could argue we’re actually super curriculars. Don’t be so harsh on yourself you’re doing amazing x

Great video Magda .) the differences in a medicine personal statement to focus on experience and what you’ve done compared to my philosophy one is obvious but it is something to bare in mind that the similarities you mention in regards to books read, passions pursued and recognition of challenges is common across it all! Very valuable :) I sadly don’t possess an Instagram handle! Is there any other medium available? I don’t have twitter either sadly :(

hey, it definitely won't hurt! I know people who did and who didn't so it's not totally necessary but if you want to help out somewhere then go for it, you can for sure talk about it on your application! But if you're already doing loads of stuff you really don't need to overdo it with extracurriculars to get in :)

umm tbh I don't know haha, I knew I wanted Cambridge and Edinburgh but I was stuck on the other two options until really close to my application deadline, not gonna lie I kinda chose them on a whim oops

Do you need to have paragraphs in your UCAS personal statement?

It makes your personal look more structured, however because you only have 47lines sometimes ppl don't and thats completely fine too
