First video I've watched of yours just now. You've put into words exactly how I've been feeling. Painfully nostalgic is the only way to describe it. I lived in Malaysia for 15 years and had my children within the first few years of moving there. I realise that a lot of the sadness, in my case, is because it's when the kids were babies. Wherever we may have been we'd look back at that time, being new mums with our new babies, with tears. It was the most emotional and amazing time of life. Added to the fact that we were young, far from home, in a new place where everything is different, but the people and place gave us such beautiful memories. Watching you in this video is basically watching someone else going through my thoughts and emotions.

Great video! Totally understand the feelings of pain, nostalgia and heartache when you miss a place you loved. We moved back to Malaysia 10 yrs ago and I miss my life in the UK (over 20 yrs there) and I do get teary whenever I think about that time. Unfortunately I didn't document much but have my photos to cherish. I count myself very lucky to have experienced a different way of life in another country. Stay safe 💞

I'm the opposite. I lived in Canada for 3 years but decided to come back to Malaysia. Difficult and challenging at first to adapt. I developed mild depressions in the midst of trying to adjust with the job, new friends, bitterly cold winter, and my dad who passed away a few months after I moved there. To cut my story short, I made few friends not a lot and that was a blessing. I share your sentiment and would love to visit Toronto in the summer maybe in 2021. I missed my friends there and also missing Toronto Island, parks, and lakes. Last but not least Tim Hortons. LOL

I do - my husband maybe misses it more, he LOVES hot weather! I must admit, I also love the cooler weather in Canada.
@zazaza55353 жыл бұрын
As they say, there is no such thing as bad climate, only bad clothing. Use suitable loose clothing that will keep you cooler and airy. It is not overly hot, just nice. And the humidity is good for you, keeps the skin moist, no need for moisture sprays, lip cream and healthy. Less wrinkles on the skin.
