Overall, you're right that Belgium can't afford the best managers in the world, but the best managers in the world usually don't go for national teams. So it was pretty much just a case of "picking the first somewhat decent manager with experience"

I submitted it literally hours before I watched ur predictions) and I am afraid I predicted Germany 3rd and losing by 1 goal to Japan, then a score draw with Spain and beating Costa Rica.
