The dolphins helmet is all one picture. The orange is the horizon and the logo is the sun in the sky, so it’s not just a random abrupt ending.

Cleveland's logo is very old. It's a brownie, a type of elf. New Orleans colour is Old Gold. A lot of 1960s logos being used: Cleveland, Colts, San Fran, chargers, New England.

after doing some research, i found out that stereotype of Vikings having horns on their helmets came from an opera costume designer in the 1800's, his name was Carl Emil Doepler and once it became popular, it has stuck around ever since

to me, one of the best helmet designs was the Houston Texans and i'm not even a Texans fan. i think that design is even better than the actual Texans helmet design that they currently use, even better than the " Battle Red " alternate helmet. Also, with the Minnesota Vikings, it is historically inaccurate to have horns on a Vikings helmet because there is nothing in history that says the actual Vikings of antiquity had horns on their helmets so, where that came from, i have no idea. i sure hope my Eagles get payback on your Vikings, Neil, for what they did to my poor Packers last week.

I am Scottish but a massive fan of Pittsburgh as a City & of The Steelers in particular. Even The U.S.L. ( Soccer ) team Pittsburgh Riverhounds use the colours of The City. The Colours come from Lord Pitt they are his family colours. The City was founded buy a Scotsman from Dunfermline Fife under orders from Lord Pitt to capture the land from The French. Pittsburgh The Pitt bit is after lord Pitt & burgh bit is after Edinburgh the capital of Scotland. Keep Safe.

The Ravens one was kind of a missed opportunity to do something similar to what he did in Arizona. Maryland is obsessed with our flag and incorporate the checkerboard charges which came from the baron of Baltimore. Having the top half be that would be something a team from the state would do (though It's mostly been the University of Maryland, not the Ravens, because NFL teams tend to go more simple with their helmets, aside from a couple very notable exceptions)

The placement of the strap in the 49ers is poorly thought out. In cases you’re wondering, the character is a gold miner. The team is named after the rush of immigrants during the gold rush. Those immigrants were known as 49ers. It’s a nice incorporation of the city’s history. My favorite designed is the dolphins ones. They use turquoise for the water and orange for the sun with the mascot in the middle. The steelers looks more like a goalie mask. Cool but feel out of place for the NFL.

I am well aware that you are just reacting to the concepts and not really focusing on any history, but ai really like the Buccaneers helmet because it pays tribute to the orange Creamsicle jerseys they wore back when they are absolutely terrible, ridiculous yet beautiful jerseys in my opinion

Alan Shields Hamilton South Lanarkshire Scotland. As a massive Steelers fan since 1996 I love the idea behind The Steelers helmet concept but honestly I just really , really dont think it would be possible to put on a helmet in reality. The concept 100% is great but in terms of reality I just could not see it happening at all. I think The most realistic to actually happen in reality is The Broncos helmet as it's a combo of the old School logo & the modern logo. I really like The Cardanels & Dolphins designs aswell but again I just dont think they are realistic in reality. I wish The Browns would go with the Pyxi logo they sometimes use on merchandise but I just dont see it happening as The Browns like to keep it simple. I also wish The Bears would use that particular logo on there helmets but again The Bears are very traditional when it comes to branding especially on uniforms. The Panthers helmet design might be realistic myb but I dont see a change happening anytime soon in reality. I would say unless a team relocates to a different city you dont see to many brand or logo changes in The N.F.L. from time to time yes but mostly that is not the case The Jets , Giants have messed around with a few Logos but nether has really ever found an outstanding logo in my view The Broncos do change Logos & shades from time to time I would personally say they always get the logo & branding right everytime they have changed but I still love the old school D logo with The Broncos the best. Keep Safe everyone..

I have my own name for Washington & it's not Redskins & it's not Commanders ether I find the way they went about dropping Redskins ridicules they instantly become a joke franchise when that happened to me & they will remain so.
