Why don't you ask HEILUNG (or Season of Mist - YT channel) directly for permission! There are so many uncensored reviews on YT, I do not think that they themselves block it, but YT is to blame! BTW: HEILUNG - Anoana is good too! And... One episode of season 6 of Vikings also used a few "pieces" of HEILUNG, but tore it up so much that it's kind of sad that they used this in such a limited way (the makers of Vikings).

Awesome. I enjoy thus band, even if I don't regularly listen to them. As a Pagan, religiously, all of that tribal, esoteric British/European band fascinate me!! Great to see this collab!! Luke's going places. Weird, wonderful places.

Check some Heilung live...it's awesome! LIFA was their first live show. Norupo, if I'm not wrong, it's a chant to learn the runes. About the members... yes, Kai is a shaman and a tattoo artist. He is from Germany and he is the one who receives the inspirations for their songs. Chris is a musical producer and a musician. He is from Denmark, I think. And Maria, the awesome Maria Franz, is a singer and musician. They play old traditional instrument (and have another musical project by the way). Both are in charge of giving music and sound to Kai's inspirations. Maria is from Norway. Heilung music is mainly inspired in runic inscription from the iron age. I live far away from the North countries, but the music that bands like Heilung and Wardruna make, drive me direct to my deepest roots that are common to all people. They are mesmerizing.

Vikings are only a small subgroup of the Germanic tribes that lived in Central and Northern Europe. Viking is also a "job title" like pirate. In principle, anyone could become a Viking. The cartoonish overrepresentation of Vikings in pop culture gives a completely false historical impression. Heilung represents Germanic people in the broadest sense and their inspiration goes back in time to the Iron Age. Also, a limitation to Scandinavia is wrong since the Germanic people were spread over large parts of northern Europe. This includes, for example, today's Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium or the Czech Republic. You don't bite into a croissant and then say that this is pirate culture because there were French buccaneers.🤷‍♂
