As an England fan I am so happy that this Nations League campaign is over. Yes there were some good moments against Germany on Monday, but still, 3 points from a possible 18, two goals from open play in 6 games, losing to Italy again, getting beaten by Hungary twice, absolute nightmare! 😅 PS: Hope Croatia win the whole thing, would be nice to see them win their first ever tournament (even if it isn't on the same level as the Euros or World Cup)

This was the Balkan League of Nations! All Balkan teams except Macedonia and Romania played very well in this tournament. The same applies to neighboring Italians, Hungarians and Slovenians. In Liga A, Croatia and Italy won the first places, and the Hungarians surprisingly took the second place. In League B, Bosnians and Serbs won the groups. Small countries like Slovenia and Montenegro kept their place in League B. Turkey and Greece won the groups in League C as expected. There were no Balkans in League D.😄

Although I'm not usually one to be optimistic about the footballing prospects for my country, I do think Louis van Gaal has proven once more in this Nations League campaign that he is one of the best managers at the World Cup this winter, and if we do have a good run, I have no doubt much of the credit will go to LvG. As for the Nations League Final Four: though we haven't officially been announced as such yet, we will be the host nation and I have no doubt Ronald Koeman will be able to inspire our squad like he did before he left on his ill-fated sojourn to Barcelona. I can't believe I'm saying this, but... we might actually win something!

Both first halfs Denmark were better, and any site will tell you this. 10 out of 11 bench players, lol, yeah sure buddy. At max you had 3. And Denmark were also without 4-5 that day. You have better midfield, granted, attack is a wash, goal is a wash aswell, but Defense Denmark are better, both on paper and statistically. I suggest you look up the stats from the 1st game (second half) It clearly shows that ofc. Denmark had the ball, but Croatia took control of the midfield. Croatia scored a lucky goal in Copenhagen, and were good but also had all the 50/50 balls and ref. calls in Zagreb, as well as scoring two goals that 9/10 don't go in. By all accounts it was also a pretty even game. Having said all this, I was also referring to the games against Austria.
