The movie is about dignity of labor that's the reason it worked so well in the north especially up, bihar. Them seeing Allu Arjun playing a coolie on screen with sincerity really shook them to the core. Just because Pushpa got some money doesn't mean he'll start dressing up like bond. He's still Pushpa the coolie and will dress like Pushpa the coolie. What other mainstream actor would play a character that chews tabacco and spits it in the police station🪓🔥

"KISS KISS KISSIK" are supposed to mimic the sounds of camera while taking pictures. Hence the heavy backlight(supposed to mimic flash) and ending step on the beat (supposed to mimic the photo being taken) during "KISSIK" lyric. That choice works or not is a different discussion, but this is the reason for ending the step on beat. Allu Arjun posted in his story "It is not KISS💋, it is KISSIK📸" when the song released.

The cinematography is done by a Polish guy, so that may be the reaon why this film looks good . Not the first time an Indian film looked good due to international cinematographer, Dhakaad starring Kangana Ranaut looked good (disregarding the plot)even in teasers due to the fact that the cinematography was done by a Japanese guy.

The reason why Pushpa in AP was because Sukumar already set a standard in 2018 by making Rangasthalam. It had better songs better story and no over heroism. Usually Sukumars protagonist are a little clever or strong but in Rangastalam the protagonist was agressive and innocent at the same time. It had Ram Charan as the lead who had never done performance driven film till then and honestly only 2 films in his filmography were good at that point but both flopped. Rangasthalam is one of the highest IMDB rated telugu films that tackles with rural area issues. Pushpa wouldve been a good a film if there was less heroism and better songs. But please give Rangasthalam a watch but im not sure if you will like it because its humour lands only in Telugu. Allu Arjun has probably the best filmography in Telugu so far but Pushpa didnt shine because Rangasthalam already set a benchmark. And please dont watch these bogus Rajamouli films like RRR Magadheera and Bahuballi, there are amazing jems in telugu films unfortunately they dont shine outside the state or sometimes within the state also.
