Lost and come back to me is so much better when you listen to it according to the album order! I thought he couldn’t outdo Indigo but he did 🥲 I love this album

Thank you for this, Austin (really enjoy your album listening/reviews). So many great songs which just get better for me with each listen. Kindred spirit here.... I absolutely love Around the World in A Day & I also stay until the bitter end of a movie 🤣!. I've loved each of RM's albums. They give such different vibes. Sad Boy "Mono" introduced me to such a different Namjoon than Rap Monster's heavy hitting "RM." With "Indigo," Namjoon took such a musical leap.... it was polished & sophisticated, yet still personal & authentic. And "Right Place, Wrong Person" catapults into such a creatively mature space. He really was fearless here! Still hard to believe he dropped such a gem during his time away. Like, "peace out, oh yeah & here you go." Love him!

The first time I listened to this album, I didn't use headphones... what a mistake! Then I went curious about the lirycs... veeeery interesting! I listened to it again, this time with headphones.... woow! That bass hooked me in a second! The more I listen, the more I like and appreciate RM (I thought it was impossible because my admiration for him is huge 😊). What amazes me the most about BTS is exactly that... their capacity to recreate themselves and be better and better and better! Thanks, dear Austin, for your reactions... Borahae! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

According to me Around the world in a day was like the climax of the whole album, like everything was building up perfectly to it and when that energetic rap part hits its🤌🏻🤌🏻 I back this theory with the fact that the next song asks if the listener will stick around to hear his last song😆

omg yes! And after that comes credit roll and come back to me. He did a similar thing on mono, the climax was everythingoes and after that the album tied back around to the beginning with forever rain.

@@user-oi5by1up4uright? The fact that come back to me kicked off all of his album release content almost was like he was weeding out which “fans” will listen to him or not and be willing to go on this trip with him. It’s incredible. I’m so happy to be Army.

Loved your reaction, Austin! I'm glad you like the album. My advice to anyone who doesn't vibe with the album should give it a few more listens. Maybe they won't change their minds, but I find some songs grow on me/people. When Indigo came out, Change Pt. 2 threw me off and it wasn't something I would normally listen to, but now it's one of my favs on the album. I felt the same way with a few of the songs on this one. From the start I loved Joon getting his thoughts and feelings out through the lyrics, but the sound of some of the songs felt a bit jarring. Now I listen to the album in its entirety every day, and the parts I found jarring I'm now like "YAAAASSS!!!"

Yes. That's why reactions are hard! Sometimes it takes a few listens before you understand and really love a song.

Sorry your reaction to Pt. 1 got blocked. I really want to watch it. Seems like people are having to re-upload theirs in smaller increments.

Thanks. The album reaction is up on my Patreon for free. KZbin is being annoying with the copyright.

You walk like a duck is an idiom. Basically saying you can deny all you want, but you’re acting just like what you’re denying Get your azz outta trunk I think is in reference to people hitching a ride on his name & fame.. he calls out his “friends” in Domodachi too

For those not familiar with U.S. idioms, the full phrase is “If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and looks like a duck, it’s a duck”. I agree with you on the “get your ass out the trunk” line. In the U.S we use phrases like “getting a free ride” or “riding someone’s coat tails” to refer to someone leeching off someone else. I believe in Korea they call it “riding the bus.” He’s such a genius with words.
