I've actually had a terrifying school lockdown happen. I was in fifth grade at the time when we were told to go into lockdown. My classroom was so quiet until we started hearing crying and screaming coming from the other classrooms. Now these walls were very thin, so we could hear VERY clearly what was happening. My classroom was also targeted by how the people tried kicking down the door and broke the door window. It was very frightening. No one was hurt, but we later found out that a bunch of highschool boys had decided to try and shoot the entire school. We weren't told why, just that we almost had a school shooting. No one was hurt because we managed to go into lockdown before any shooting could happen. So we were lucky.

I have a kind of scary story. So basically when I was little, like 6 or 7, I lived in this two story house. I slept on the bottom bunk of the bunk bed and my sibling slept on the top. My view was outside the door, since we weren’t allowed to close our bedroom door. The stairs were right outside my doorway, so at night I had to stare straight at the stairs. If anyone came up, I’d see. There were a few times when I was confident I saw a shadow come up the stairs. I despised that house and I ALWAYS had nightmares. There was also this shadow on my bedroom wall at night. Since I was scared of the dark I slept with a nightlight. Right near the nightlight would be a monster shadow, only the face. It had evil eyes, pointy teeth, and even devil horns. It only appeared on some days even though we never moved anything around the room and there was nothing in the room that could have made the shadow. It was clearly there too. The same exact shadow the same exact time. Some nightmares I had over and over again, exact same thing. I felt creeped out living in that house and I hated it. Luckily, me and my family moved. Ever since then, I’ve had good dreams. To this day, I still feel like there was something wrong with that house. I haven’t had a dream about that house in 4 years and last night I had a nightmare of me and that house. Now I’m scared to go back to sleep.

I got literal chills reading this because,this reminds me of a time when I was living in my old house my bedroom was the last door at the end of the hallway so I was able to see the stairs,one night I woke up to a sound from downstairs,I felt a little scared because my parents were never up at the time,and then I could see a shadow coming up the stairs I was terrified and I screamed as loud as I could but when I looked back nothing was there my mom and dad came running to me I told them what I saw but when my dad went to check downstairs there was no evidence that someone broke in my mom told me it was probably just a nightmare but every night I could always see the shadow walking up the stairs luckily we moved but until this day I always think if I hear something in the middle of the night it’s the shadow.

I remember in elementary about 4th grade year we started to learn Alice, the years prior we weren’t allowed to protect ourselves or truly Barricade the doors. All we were allowed to do was hide. It wasn’t until middle school when they started changing things to where we could move the desks, grab any object we could in need of usage to protect ourselves. We even ended up having special barricades that locked out doors which I don’t wanna publicly put out just in case.
