I honestly feel like the bar for a good film and good acting performances have come so so down. Ab pataal me hai bar. Honestly shayad lack of good story ho ya nepotism but extraordinary toh kuch bhi nhi hua h in bollywood for a while. Annaya Pandey ( no disrespect to her ) she legit just did 2 tolerable performances and now everyone is like oh she's a good actress. Bro Priyanka played an insanely convincing vamp in aitraz at the age of 22 and don't even get me started on the debut performances of actors like Shabana Azmi in Ankur. Collective mediocrity ka echo chamber bana diya h bas.

Martin being called mid is the biggest compliment it must have gotten. Also, I want to say that I didn't like this movie and felt that Neeraj Pandey did this only for a paycheck (I do like Baby and Special 26). The long shots that you mention (which definitely are aplenty) are shot with a steadicam as if one were shooting a rehearsal. The bad steadicam work is especially apparent in the opening scene when the camera is following someone or changing perspective and you see the constant blur in between. I strongly feel that most of this movie was directed by a second unit and the overuse of Steadicam was done to shoot it super fast and super cheap. Apart from Jimmy Shergill and Avinash Tiwary, every other actor has inconsequential roles. You remove Tammannaah's, Divya Dutta's, Zoya Afroz, Ridhima Pandit and Hansa ke pati ke roles and still, it doesn't really affect the story much. The end also was clearly a cop-out. Anyway, that's just my opinion. 🙂

@@Raginyy True, that's what talent, even in Hollywood, feels when it comes to making content on OTT. As most OTT platforms don't offer royalties of any kind, they end up paying a huge sum upfront, which is too good to pass up. Most content on OTT, especially films are of a disposable variety.

Tbh after long time i have watched something satisfactory movie from indian cinema which have nothing loud bgm and useless slomo. Movie is nice ,smart writing . I also wanted a very unexpected grand ending but yeah ending what a decent cliffhanger type.👍
