So Hyang is well known for her vocal mastery but often her demeanour & the soul in her voice makes me feel like I’m simply listening to someone with a story to tell. There’s a certain maturity in her music- from the songs she chooses to sing, to her choice of arrangement, and the way she delivers it. And that’s probably what I love the most about her. “If I ain’t got you” made me feel those exact same feelings deeply and was my fav performance of her from 2020. God sure knows how to give good musical gifts, doesn't He? There is no one like So Hyang. Period. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada right next to the Rocky Mountains. Tonight it is going to be -43 C with windchill. Somewhere in the province they are calling for -55 C tonight ... both Celsius and Fahrenheit converge at -40, so I don't know what that means in degrees F! (I just looked it up. It is -67 F ... !!!) I can tell you truthfully, even we Canadians don't know what to think of that. Other than you better stay inside and have the furnace running! I've seen more than a 140 degree Fahrenheit difference in temperatures living on the Canadian prairies in my life--from colder than -40 F to over 100 F. Yes, that is extreme! (Actually, that was just in the last 4 years!) I don't know how the Plains tribes dealt with that, living in a buffalo skin tent 150 years ago in the Wild West ... Actually, here is what the local CBC weather report says. I read it and wept. Well, I didn't really weep, I just felt a terrible chill go down my spine. :( ********* Mon Feb 08, 21 at 4:00 PM MST Tonight Partly cloudy. Ice fog patches developing overnight. Wind north 20 km/h becoming light early this evening. Low minus 31. Wind chill near minus 43. Frostbite in minutes. ********** "Frostbite in minutes." They found an Einstein to write that last sentence! Ever have this kind of weather in Brazil, Steph?

Hello. I live in Korea, but it wasn't long before I got to know her. There was also some prejudice. But now I really love her and her songs. I'm listening almost every day. I feel that you should step into the King of Mask Singer series. For me, the best songs of Sohyang came from most of the performances there. If you are reacting to King of Mask Singer, you must not use youtube because they are truncated. You should react from vimeo with English subtitles. Fyi, there was a poll done for top favourite of Sohyang performances, and one of the favourites is Where Are You. If you react to this, also use vimeo. There are two annoying interruption in the KZbin version.

She doesn't seem to answer subscribers at all. No offense.. just my opinion about her communication style with subscribers. Have never seen she messages later..even less short "the thanks" texting for sincere and helpful messages of subscribers to make her clip itself better. Once she uploads each day's reaction clip , that's All..Period. Such a Ridiculous..👎 I've texted many times..sometimes short and sometimes long , yet have never received any feedback from her through message or saying in her clip. It's great for her to react Queen, So Hyang but such an out of date communication style that's been met.. My sentiment is no longer with her communication style.. I'm leaving. On reply section of her clip , there is just only "heart emoticon".. even less just two or three emoticons among all messages of subscribers. No replies from her.. except for her lips that is told around end of reaction clip that says "Like button" and "subscribe button" ,including her general feeling about the song. Her attitude like this towards subscribers is just ridiculous bcz she always emphasizes these "two buttons" around end of clip on every single clip, on the other hand, she's never replied to subscribers.. 4:19 She just did the Bruce Lee one inch palm to the groin. That expression "once a generation" applies and we are seeing it in real time. So Hyang is parallel to Whitney Houston, no whistle yet she made up for that with one of the best head voices ever being able to hit most of the 6th octave without a thined out whistle. So Hyang can do the same. Morissette Amon is parallel to Mariah, whistles and belts are her thing, she probably already exceeded Mariah with her sustained belts but can't hit the lowest notes Mariah can. I suspect she will as her voice changes for the better.
