The way I see it, gear second to fourth are just pieces of his awakening. Second gear is a speed boost, third gear is a power boost, fourth gear is a haki boost, and fifth gear is all three in one.

Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun reacting with someone else for sure. Yeah sometimes I wasn't as "present" as usual, but it still made it fun none the less. TOEI ANIMATION WENT NUTS!!! That deflection specifically is where shit went crazy to me.

IDK if you know, but Sun God (Nika) was foreshadowed twice back in Skypiea with Shandorians worshipping the Sun God and Luffy's shadow looking just like Nika's, while he was dancing with the wolves around the fire. In Big Mom's flashback during Elbaf, Sun God was also mentioned. Oda with his crazy foreshadowing! Also, next episode is one to react to for sure! It's got the most crazy animators & staff on it. Hell, all of the G5 episodes do! Also, it's absolutely insane how Luffy split the clouds by HIMSELF! :D

Luffy literally just FLEXED to do what he and Kaido clashing full force did....like bruh. And yes Oda is absolutely insane with foreshadowing. I hope the next episode and the finale of this whole thing really goes hard rather than just the beginning.

Straight up. Like it's really weird to finally see one! I think it also is signifying that we are in the last core of the arc (like it'll be over within the next 12 episodes).
