The starters were pretty close to right. The fact that Dame got snubbed early in his career may have given him a boost but at least he earned it. I told myself after the sh*t show last year that I was not going to watch the ASG anymore but I will probably tune in 😂

If the stats are negligible between Randle and Banchero, I'd definitely go with Paulo then. His impact on games as the number one option has been nuts this season, the amount of games they won off his back is crazy. If his numbers are lower it's because he has to attempt harder things to keep his side in it than Randle does

How does everyone feel about increasing the number of All Stars in a season? I wouldn’t mind an extra frontcourt and backcourt player for each conference. This would also be a reasonable decision to make if the NBA plans on expanding in the coming years.

I would still say despite the counting stats Jimmy is still Miami's best player this year. Bam is still quite clearly the number 2 guy as he can't run an offence on his own because of his overuse of his midrange shot. The Heat's notorious 4th quarter chokes always come when Jimmy sits the first 5 minutes of the 4th quarter, the team without him is another brooklyn nets.

While Joker, definitely not KD lol, should have been captain as he's the best player in the West, I don't see a problem because the West at least got the starters right. It’s obviously because dame is a way way way more popular player so he’ll get every single casual vote. And no, their stats weren’t identical. Brunson is slightly better in counting stats and his efficiency is miles better. 47%-33% vs 42%-34%. Jalen has 56EFG% dame Is 50. And Brunson is better in every single impact metric by a lot. And they have the same usage %. It’s not particularly close.
