Pattie Boyd, the girl with George in the video, is the girl this song was written about. She probably has the most songs written for her of anyone. Something, For You Blue, Layla, Bell Bottom Blues, Wonderful Tonight, and probably more that I can't remember.

Thanks. 227 songs still to go:) Frank Sinatra called this the greatest love song that he had heard. The Beatles went to Hamburg, Germany in 1960 to The Star Club where they played for SEVEN hours a night for 5 months so they perfected their Art. Their first UK hit was in 1962 and their first USA hits were in 1964 where 73 Million watched them on USA TV. They INSISTED on playing to mixed audiences in the days of Segregation. Played the first outdoor stadium in Shea Stadium, New York with 55m000 there. Had 14 hits in The USA Top 100 at the same time including ALL THE TOP 5 songs. They have sold the most singles AND Albums, more than twice as many as the next 2 Artists combined(Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson COMBINED)..

paul's bass is low key monster level greatness i n this song....if u can ever here the isolated bass track , or some super good bassist doing a note for note solo bass guitar cover (both are on youtube), itll blow ur mind....ringo's drum fills are also amazing here, theyre super intense for such a mellow song, low key tension building....ringo has said "my art is in the drum fills".....the beatles were just amazing...& george harrison wrote & sang this....its one of tne most loved beatles songs too, & that is well deserved praise for george....great damn reaction 100%....as far as pauses are concerned just back it up ten seconds after commentary (im sure some ppl are very rude) but i think most viewers more get frustrated on behalf of the reactor....these old songs have a lot of epic, & unexpected sections to them & an unfortunate pause can rob the reactor of an epic moment because it interupts the flow.....do whatever u want tho, its ur channel, & i think ur reactions are great:)

Don't worry about pausing. Most people have heard it and can listen anytime they want. The reactions are more important

I agree with you about the pausing. I would listen to the song uninterrupted on a music channel if the pauses bothered me. I watched this video to see the reactor react, pauses included.

In all fairness to you......if it's your first listen to any song by any artist...........how in the heck would you know when the right time is to pause or stop ? just keep doing what you are doing and don't mind the negative nellies of the world. LOL :)

I agree it's not easy at first but that is a strange thing for a Male to say. It's not being negative to want someone, who you may like, to improve. I have, always, thought that in my 70 years in London and, only, yesterday read an article saying "affirmation bias" does no good to the receiver if there ARE faults that need to be mentioned like another reactor interrupted one of the greatest guitar solos ever to talk about the Stage and ruined the flow.(It was Pink Floyd:"Comfortably Numb" @ PULSE). I would be mortified if I made a , mistake or did not do things the correct way and you were my colleague and said nothing. lol

It's known by most people and other musical artists as the BEST love song ever written. It's beautiful. George Harrison wrote this. Pauls bass playing on this is amazing. There's no such thing as a "bad" Beatles song. They're Gods. And ya, you have to be very careful with the Beatles songs AND anything by the Eagles. They're extremely touchy and VERY serious about the copy write laws on their music. I don't mind you pausing to make a comment, that's why I chose a reaction video instead of just going and listening to the song. Just don't do it every five seconds like some reaction people out there. You end up missing pieces and details about the song.

Fantastic song! I'm not so bothered by your pausing, but I wish the volume on your video was a tad louder. I could hear the music fine, but your voice was kinda low. Anyhow I can see you enjoyed the song. It's a classic

Your reactions are great. Keep it up. If people are upset about paises they should just go listen to the track rhemselves rather than watch a reaction. The only thing I'd do different is to run the son back a few seconds at the pauses. As far as yiur timing doe oaiaing, it looks like you figured it out and are doing it at the transitions. Since you dont know the songs you'll usually be a few bars late, which is part of the reason it's good to run it back when you start again.

TBH not one of my favorite Beatles songs, it's a great song just not my style. Harrison's writing got better and better. Whenever I hear a Beatles song written by Harrison I always wonder how much better it could be if McCartney and Lennon had collaborated.
