Finally someone who calls these people who probably only know about chess through Gotham chess out. I have nothing against beginners and if someone doesn't understand a position in a video, it's great if they ask questions in the comments. However, every beginner should have the self awareness to know that they might be missing something. How someone who's clearly at a very low rating can have the audacity to call any chess KZbinr stupid with so much confidence is absolutely beyond me. I mean, every serious chess KZbinr I know is actually a really good player, so if I don't understand a move, my first thought is "what am I (!!!) missing here" and not "oh that KZbinr who has at least 400-600 points more in his ranking as me is so stupid."

It’s not that they’re hate comments. It’s just that none of them have even come close to 2000 Elo. If you really do play Nc3 and you aren’t good enough at chess to see black having a forced mate, you should easily see that black has much more material and white’s king is incredibly endangered. Ignore it when people say these kinds of comments, there is absolutely no reason to stoop down to their level and have to make a video about it. Almost all of the people who left those comments are bad at chess and won’t even watch this video because they likely don’t care about this channel

Only recently found your channel. This video HAD to be made by someone, thank you! As a ~1940 classical myself, you can see when somebody knows chess and you >obviously< do. It's weird that 'hate' comments I tend to just laugh off because people are either trolling or have nothing better to do. The 'wrong' comments are an entirely different story though: it's just the blatant disregard of a longer than two-seconds attention span that is. SO. annoying. You see 'wrong' comments so often on study shorts: "why not X" (this is the polite one), "bruh just X", "100 elo just play X" and the only benefit is that it allows me to practice my facepalm 🤣 For newer players, a few small tips on how to >contribute< properly to a study (or analyzed game position): 1. If it's clearly a study or prepared position, chances are about 0 you'll find something that wasn't already analyzed. 2. If you're really not sure about the played moves or your suggestion, just check the >free< Lichess engine for literally a few seconds. 3. If you >really< want to discuss a variation that wasn't already, add notation with ideas. Or just keep posting comments like the one in this video and TwoNiche can make another of these in... two days, give or take.
