I'd like to talk about the "cheater" at 1:20. You see, he's not actually cheating, he just has a really good gaming chair and main character plot armor. Now, having a really good gaming chair enhances both your speed, and your luck. This is first shown at the ruin portal. Spawning near the portal was an example of his luck, and when he "cuts" out of the chest, he was actually just moving so fast that his recording software couldn't keep up. (that's why he waits 0.03 seconds, so the recording could catch up) Now, when he goes for the tree. What's the fastest way to chop wood? With an axe. If you're going for an axe, why not go for the best? So, he runs ahead to find an axe. He then finds the chest (thanks to the luck of his really good gaming chair) he then runs back to the tree to get the wood. The reason we see a "cut" is because he's doing this all so fast, that neither we or the recording software could keep up. That's also how he knew where that chest was. Now, in the Neather. His infinite fire rez can only be explained by one thing, the power of main character plot armor. Having main character plot armor allows you to overcome anything that could possibly be an impossible challenge. And the whole thing with that incredible chest? More really good gaming chair luck. When he then teleports out of the Neather? More really good gaming chair speed. When he's lucky enough to stand right on top if the stronghold? Really good gaming chair luck. And in the End, he's using a combination of his really good gaming chair and his main character plot armor. The poor dragon never stood a sliver of a chance.

It means nothing in the grand scheme of things, but the first “speed runner” if you pause at the right moment, the ruined portal chest only gave him an unbreaking 3 gold pick. But just a few seconds later he shows off the pick to have fortune and mending. About 1:39. I had to play that section on half speed just to find it. Subtle since the runner actively tried to avoid showing us the pick until the cut. Again, means nothing once the cut and nether it’s axe appear, but just something I saw out of the corner of my eye and had to confirm.
