RE: The Thermal Imaging one. There's a channel called the Modern Rogue who a few years back made a video that is one half a fake ghost hunting show and half explaining how they did it, and literally one of the things they do is point a thermal imaging camera at a reflective object and pretend it's an anomaly. It's worth a watch -- they also go on to say that have no idea why anyone thinks there's any relationship between the paranormal and EMF other than the meters being set off by electronics -- again something they do in the fake show bit.

To clarify, you are correct about the second video. In the U.S., publicly sharing any private photos, film, information, even a client's name, is a violation of the Vulnerable Adults act. Just one VA on your record, you'll never work in the field again. Sharing that video is obviously a VA. I don't work in the field anymore, but when I did, I almost got a VA for sharing a selfie with a coworker at a day program because a client's hand was in the frame. I was out for two weeks while it was investigated.

Well done for My Heritage for sponsoring a real channel. The clip i find interesting is the fairground one. Looking at the first part of the video and starting with the green car before the 2 kids we can find the order of the car colours. G, y, b, b, g, r, y, b, g, y, b, b, y, b, r, b, g, y, b. Is the pattern I've got. Then i made a not of how many people in each car.... I tried to work out when the pattern repeats using the list and ive come to the conclusion that there are 4 yellow cars on the ride. I have 2 numbers for the total number of cars 9 and 16. Am i loosing the plot or is the original statement of a ghost being there correct? If anyone else wants to check it I'd love to know what your answer is.

There's a trucking show (Cannot remember) that had to transport massive generators through Coffs Harbour Australia. The lights from the trucks and escort vehicles, completely filled my mothers house like a disco... she lives a fair distance from the road they were taking, but the light was so intense it seemed liked it was right outside her house. Light doesn't always act like we would like to think it does.

I’ve thought I’ve seen a ghost twice in my life. The first time was when I was about 10. In the car at night with my parents I looked out over a field and saw this white thing floating in the wind. Scared me stupid until I realised it was a windsock. 2nd time was when I was about 35. Stood in my kitchen at night and looked out my back window to see a face staring back at me. I screamed. The face screamed. It was my own reflection in the conservatory glass at the back of my house 😳. Yeah so safe to say I’ve not seen a ghost 🤣. That video is the perfect example of why I will refuse to ever put my parents in an old folks home or have someone else taking care of them. I'm chronically disabled, but there is no way I'm letting anyone else take care of any of my parents (I have a father, mother, and step father). People take advantage of old people and treat them so bad and neglectful a lot of the time, so if I'm alive and able, I will 100% be taking care of my parents. I dont want anyone using them for some tiktok views, that would make me irate.

As someone in such a facility right now, I advise using a camera if you can't take care of them. No shade to you but there are ailments that even an RN can't handle at home. I've seen it several times. I'm not in a great place but several residents have cameras in their rooms. It may sound creepy, but everyone knows about it. Signs are posted and loved ones keep an eye on the staff. I live in TX in the states and people were caught neglecting a woman. They were fired. It makes a difference.
