After paying a bit more attention I think each studio needed to choreograph a dance with their exchange member. Heath as the bird in the end you can see Pascal to his right and then we obviously see Kenzie in that group with France.

I honestly have no clue what pascales secret could be too. Which im honestly glad abt bc its nice to have some mystery. Im predicting that ethans solo will be for a home advantage challenge bc hes in studio 1 and not studio a like the rest of the internationals dances. Bc im guessing its not just a regular solo since hes in costume. Honestly i loved seeing eldon yelling at anthony bc its nice seeing some authority but i have no idea what anthony couldve done. Maybe anthony is still choreographer and eldon is mad at one of his decisions. With internationals being at the next step it is kinda disappointing but i obviously understand their budget probs wouldnt be enough to film in another country. And honestly im still rlly excited bc costumes look amazing and the lighting was super cool too. I hope we still get to see dances from other countries through a livestream bc otherwise it wouldnt rlly feel like a proper competition. Final things i loved abt this trailer: that very cinematic shot of olive in that dress at the start, the three new ships (anthony and adele, ebby and remi, and heath and pascale), heath as a bird lmao, the prom scenes and honestly everything.

Yeah ur right about Ethan, and also I think the home field advantage is a challenge between Canada and France and whoever wins doesn’t have to travel to the sisters studio for internationals, and the team that loses has to go to the sisters studio

HOLD UP… one important thing is that we saw Kenzie was #1 as in she had the most screen time this season. But we haven’t seen that yet so if she stays in France for long I don’t see that happening. I’m assuming Kenzie probably comes in soon or gets screen time online through video chat in every ep. Which also means she won’t be cut 😭

Am I the only one who thinks internationals doesn't feel like it is that big of a deal? In S3 we could see how much every dancer had improved through the years (Stefanie is the best example). Because the dancers got better and better the competition felt bigger and tougher. The only character I see who has become more and more advanced since last regionals is heath (ik he wasn't at regionals but he was introduced in that season). Kenzie, pete, ethan, izzy still feel like they are on the same level as when they were introduced and the rest is too new to see improvement in their dance. Yes, there are A LOT of phenomenal dancers on a troupe, but I feel like without that visual development the competitions feel like they are staying at the same level... After the OGs won internationals it felt like we have seen them from the beginning to the end so it made sense and it felt like the right time to let them go. I can't imagine feeling the same if this a troupe wins. It doesn't feel like they have accomplished everything.

OK ONE THOUGHT! So if u watch cbbc’s latest short video (which is such a spoiler) it shows Eldon, Olive, Anthony and a few others facing an issue. At the end of that video Grace admits that she knew Ariana was too weak the whole time and would never go through with the sabotages. So Grace had another accomplice the entire time. IM GUESSING ITS PASCAL! It all makes sense… she’s getting close to Heath who is the heart of the team and basically that’s how Grace wants Pascale to sabotage them. 😨😨🕵️🕵️

I personally think that Ariana is going to decide that she doesn’t want to stick with her plan with grace anymore, but as they need to get rid of a dancer, Grace will say something along the lines of “if you drop out of the plan I’ll tell nick you messed up the livestream. Which if they did find out, Ariana would be off the team. Which then may cause Ariana to be sad and struggle with talking to olive and Adele,(her sad solo in the trailer) This may eventually cause Ariana to leave the team, possibly after they already kicked someone off. Which would bring them down to 10 dancers (if kenzie does still dance. does she! idek tbh) Which they will finally get the the recurring plot of “We only have nine dancers for internationals) ANYWAYY THAT WAS MY CRAZY THEORY LOL ALSO THIS WAS BEFORE I HAVE WATCHED THE FIRST TWO EPISODES SO IF THEY PROVE ME WRONG WHICH THEY PROBABLY WILL THATS REALLY ANNOYING. I think Ethan has a love storyline in Studio 1 with a male dancer from Team France. Miss Kate returns and perform a dance at Internationals as a guest. Nick saying who let you in here would be Maria since Maria is in Season 9B. Michelle coming back which I'm excited. Olive performs a solo in Studio A relating to Internationals while Anthony, Ebby, and Ethan watched. Kenzie returns from the exchange program, I love that Kenzie and Pete are holding hands. Ariana might kicked herself out of A Troupe and then she will rejoin A Troupe by making up everything she's done when her plan to take down The Next Step was Grace's idea all along and Ariana didn't want to be apart of it. I'm looking forward to the prom scenes, there always my favorite. Pascale does a solo in Studio 1 and Heath watches her solo. Heath and Pascale are having a love storyline. I hope Team France will forgive Pascale and I'm wondering what her secret was and why Team France are not talking to her. Eldon and Anthony arguing could be like Hunter and Eldon but not with the whole dance battle thing and the Michelle love storyline, it's more like Internationals related. I hope Ethan is featured at Internationals which looks like he does a solo at Studio One. I'm looking forward to seeing Freya Skye in Season 9B, she could probably be guest performance performing her song like what they did with Shawn Desman in Season 2 at Nationals with a welcome party. We'll see how Ariana and Grace relationship will be like in Season 9B since it's getting intense. I'm looking to hearing the Season 9B Soundtrack. I think Adele and Anthony will be a couple and have a love storyline together. I'm looking forward to hearing your reaction to Season 9B.

Not seen S9B 12 or 13 as I cannot access BBC iPlayer here in Ireland. I have a feeling the 12 to 11 dancers thing is a fake by Grace to ensure Ariana has to decide who leaves thinkng it is real so she can get the team to have backlash to Grace or see if her loyalty is still to Grace. I think Grace decides to tell the truth once it comes out the later for having to drop a dancer was fake. She tells Grace she wants out of her plans. Grace tries to set Ariana up and lie it was all her the sabotage to the team if Ariana decides to tell the truth thus the staff in the locker as a warning. Then Ariana tells the team the truth, everything and decides to leave but in the end they decide to keep her. I think when miles says who let you in here it is Grace and she has brought Lucien. Also In season 7 Miles character made peace with Lilly's mom and offered for her to help with routines at the next step but that was never mentioned after. Also maybe as a twist a dancer from the paired up teams has to be swapped and dance for the other team. Also before they find out the letter fake Heath is kicked off the team. Like you said he was Grace's target from day one. I feel Grace will try to influence who the alternate dancers are.

If I am being brutally honest. Obviously, if the dances are good then I'll definitely enjoy it but this is Internationals, it's typical that it is literally in studio A. Super cringe, especially as this may be the last Internationals we see. This competition is to announce world winners and it's in the studio, that we see every day. It does feel really cheap won't lie. The whole point is about the audience, the other teams, the venue, the whole feel. I am disappointed.

Worst part of them not doing it in a stage and with public is that they didn't even put effort on it. They could at least have given us some other studio to at least have something different if we can't get regular nationals, and we know they have other sets or at least can make their sets look like somewhere else, but just said "fuck it" and let it happen in the same space we have been the entire season on.

Too bad to do the internationals in the Next step studio. Despite a lack of budget, they managed to make a scene for Dance mania. Moreover, there seems to be no audience. The enthusiasm seems less great. The costumes are not incredible. romance between Pascal and Heath is unnecessary in my opinion and comes out of nowhere. Adèle and Anthony's romance is "good" but there are no emotions like Riley and James or Richelle and Noah during their duet performance in competitions. Lucien's presence for Studio Elite will have been non-existent. Honestly, I'm not sure there will be a season 10 based on the trailer. But I like the next step so I want to keep it that way ❤

A ton of dances (which are pretty fancy) are done on what looks like the floor of Studio A. They're having a Party with the French Team in Studio 1. Would they come to TNS just to have a party?
