They arranged, recorded, and mixed this version of ES in 5 days. Alessia performed her vocals in Canada and her video portion when in Italy. Chris Smith of 21 Entertainment Group in Toronto, Canada suggested the collab to Metallica and they liked the idea. Alessia and TW are featured artists with 21 EG. Their ES version is featured in the Marvel video game Midnight Suns kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJrTmJtujJeDg8k A clip is also being played by Fox Sports during MLB, NFL, and College Football games.

The original cover of Sandman they did was 7-years ago! It went viral and got the attention of Metallica back then which resulted with them being invited to do this rendition for Metallica’s recently released Blacklist album along with 53 other artists. This was “EPIC” and has made top 25 list as high as 11th. Much love for Dany, Pau, and Ale! ❤️

Metallica told the Artist to cover their songs any way they wanted to and make it their own. And the Warning did that VERY well! P.S.- This cover got a UNANIMOUS 2 Thumbs from Metallica. Just a FYI - Canadian singer and songwriter Alessia Cara has won 17 awards out of 73 nominations including a Grammy, a Juno, Fan Favorite at the MTV Awards and Best New Artist & Best Album in 2018. She's also signed with the same Promotion & Management Group as the Warning and since Alessia is in the POP arena ... they thought it would be an "interesting" mix

I like how Dany goes from being Mexican to Irish for a second when she pronounces the word "fire" lol! I just found out bout The Warning a few months ago and have been obsessed with them ever since.

English is a second language to Dany, Pau, and Ale. People learning a second language tend to take on the accent of their teachers. In their first version of Enter Sandman (when they were much younger) you can detect a variety of accents if you listen closely. As they have gotten older and spent more time in the USofA, their accents are more standardized US (the US broadcast news pronunciation without a regional accent).

A great reaction and this in reality is a tribute to the original, they have made it their own. Metallica asked Alessia Cara to do it she involved the Warning who suggested the song and then ran with it. You check out their original where they do a not for note cover and the bass is as big as Ale.

Actually they asked the Warning to recreate it and they asked Alicia to collaborate on it seeing how they are from the same record company. THE WARNING it is their brand. They are the future of rock!❤❤❤THE WARNING❤❤❤PAU❤❤❤

Since the Warning started their rise to fame with their viral cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman 7 yrs ago, when they were 14,12 & 9, on KZbin, (and Metallica became Big Fans of the Warning), When Metallica decided to do a Charity Album of their songs covered by other Famous Musicians (53 Artist doing 12 songs - "Metallica Blacklist Album") ... it was only fitting to ask The Warning to cover their "Enter Sandman" for the Blacklist Album.

Metallica did not ask The Warning. Metallica asked Alessia Cara. Someone from Alessia Cara's production company suggested she collaborate with The Warning. It made sense since The Warning already knew the song. I know The Warning Army think very much of DPA but remember they are barely second tier in the eyes of the music industry. Soon they will be first tier but until then let's give credit where credit is due.

Nice! Shot in an abandoned textile mill south of Monterrey, Mexico. Alessia was asked by Metallica to do a cover for their 30th anniversary tribute album called The Blacklist. Her management agency also manages The Warning. So a collaboration was suggested since Alessia had no experience with rock music. Enter Sandman was the natural choice since TW was launched by a cover of Enter Sandman in 2014. Metallica asked that they not do a straight cover. The song was rearranged and recorded in one week to meet Metallica’s schedule. The video was shot the week before the release on September 10th. Very beautiful!

Great reaction. Alessia did a great job and thanks to Alessia the girls got this opp and it was a great collab. When Dany took over the vocals, I got goosebumps. Dany's voice fits rock so well. The girls killed it, love Pau's creepy recitation of the prayer and Dany's subtle guitar lead that's going on in the background while Pau's doing that creepy part. Love the harmonies and the final kick to the face with that classic heavy riff. The location and the black and white video definitely added some extra character to this rendition. TW 4 life :)

This is a good cover, definitely made it their own. Another great all sibling band is Liliac, they do an amazing cover of this song as well as other covers and even originals. The lead singer has has such a unique and amazing voice. I would love to see you react to Liliac.
