I'm a 38 year old woman from Ireland, and I'd never heard of you before watching Jon Denton's reaction to Sisyphus. I couldn't believe how great of a song it was, and was really looking forward to the album dropping. And when it did... I FUCKING LOVED IT. So impressive, so lyrical, so much going on yet beautifully harmonious, you are seriously talented. And that you produced it too? Shut the front door! The last full album I was really looking forward to, and enjoyed enough to listen to the whole thing was Run The Jewels 4, so you're in good company. P.S. Showed Sisyphus to my 68 year old mother and she thought it was fucking class, and she saw Led Zeppelin live in 1969 so she knows good music.

As a professional artist, I'm so impressed by how you simultaneously celebrate the positive feedback and engage with the negative without pretension or defensiveness. Nobody emerges from the proverbial womb fully formed, and the only way to learn is by doing. Sometimes we fail, but that failure is as instructive and formative (if not moreso) than the wins. I don't know, it's really moving shit. I should be taking notes.

I LOVE the interludes Quad, don't worry. Totalt agree with you! They're beautiful. Also would you consider making Swollowed the key a full song? That would easily be my favorite if it was a full fledged song! I'd love it as a bonus single!

Quad needs to take a break from making music for like a week at least. Give the man a vacation😭

1:22 Notice how he didn't say "if you Told 16 year old me I was making an album" He's been wanting to take music seriously from the very beginning. You really remind me of Kanye in wierd way Quadeca

What’s the difference between what he said and what you said he didn’t say?
@blitzsturm72713 жыл бұрын
@@rohungupta8435 the difference is that 16 year old him would believe that he's making an album someday but not that it would be reviewed by Anthony

the interludes were my favorite part too. when it first dropped I listened all the way through a few times and they just made the project feel so much more full. kinda adds a movie soundtrack feel to it.
