Pho sure she didn't get it. What's your comfort food when you're sick?

Mine is more of a side dish but since I’m from Hawaii, my comfort food is Spicy Tuna Poke.

Usually, I drink a lot of hot fluids to stay hydrated and warm as well as to offset sore throat. That said, I will eat porridge, chicken noodle soup, or whatever is in my cabinet.

I usually go for the sick drink at Starbucks (believe it's called Honey Citrus Mint Tea). It has a Peach Tranquility and Mint Tea, couple shots of honey and steamed lemonade. Usually they give you half water half lemonade but I prefer full lemonade because with the hot water, the temperature I find is too hot. I also get it in a Grande size as it's just perfect size (not too little or too much). I know for soar throats, it's the best!! ❤️ If you want to try it, let me know 😀

"all pasta noodles are the same with any sauce" you can hear all the Italians scream from Italy, even in California. lol. the shape of a noodle effects how it holds a sauce, depending on the sauce. that's why some noodles have ridges, holes, ect. some are better for cream sauces then, while others the same sauce would turn the dish into a plaster consistency. try a thick alfredo sauce with angel hair pasta, and you will better understand.
@Meecheer2 жыл бұрын
So there is a difference! I am glad my suspicions were correct. The restaurants shouldn’t give people the liberty to choose pasta and sauce separately. And thanks for the perfect case of angle hair and thick Alfredo sauce- no bueno.
@KMI05882 жыл бұрын
Haha I was just about to say. I will admit though there is generally more interchangeability then with Asian dishes.
@gabrielangel19232 жыл бұрын
@@KMI0588 that's because most Italian noodles are different shapes, but basically the same recipe. While Asian noodles have wildly different recipes, shapes, cooking styles, and such.

Just realized she use 'nam pla'. As mentioned in the video, it was fish sauce but that's from Thailand. To those that not fimilar to fish sauce, Thailand nam pla and vietnamese nuoc mam are totally different smell and taste.

Well most westerners do not understand that Asian cuisines are not rubber stamped and generic across the borders of Asian countries. They will say “ let’s get Chinese!” Then go get sushi. I have gotten to the point where I will Make my own Asian inspired dish but use things from many different cultures in one dish. I don’t call it authentic anything other than “dinner.”

I split up with a girl once over food. i asked her if she wanted Thai food for dinner. She replied "I dont like foreign food, can we just get a pizza? Im a chef, and that was it. I just looked at her and said "just go, please go".

yea, it just shows that she is close-minded, which is always a bad sign whenever you see it your dating partner especially.

If she went that easily she didn't like you either. It's easier to get rid of a kidney than girl who likes you. If you're mean to them they just think it's foreplay.

so looks like companies are puting "superfood" in their products bc it's proven to increase product sales, so maybe you can replace the "subscribe" button with "super subscribe" button for super fun benefits, and that's the power of marketing

I wonder if miss/mrs clodagh is an actual chef. How can a chef say it takes same amount of time to cook noodles? It is basic knowledge and written in cookbooks how much time it takes to cook noodles. I pity the hosts who have to keep a straight face eating pho king bad food

Meech, please take care and get well soon. Your accent is cute, not bad. There is a Vietnamese dish called Bo Luc Lac that is known as 'Shaken Beef'.
