The major take I got from listening to both is the amount of time Morgan Wallen and Durk had to make theirs it sounds like it was rushed and the sound quality overall was washed with too much autotune and sounded like it was recorded from an old mic at the bottom of a Pringles can. I really wanted to like the original more than I did because I felt it signafied something more than just a song. Upchurch's version is cleaner, the mixing is amazing, there's more dynamics with all the harmonizing and vocal fades from both artists. It really honestly feels like Wallen and Durk covered the song...
